Thank you, SharMar, for pointing that out. I thought I'd changed that at midnight but I must have forgotten what I was doing. The joys of getting old.

Sorry. Not trying to confuse you. At least I still have my photo so you know it's me even if I occasionally appear nameless.

I am setting in a funky little coffee house in the Riverside area of Wichita enjoying a strawberry and banana smoothie.

Last night the Cajun dinner was good was we listed to a swing band from California.

Today I was at the Botanica gardens where I shot 150 images in 90 minutes. I am really starting to love digital cameras.

This evening is the free ice cream and the Mitch Ryder concert.

Tomorrow is the walk, a baseball game and the pops concert among other things.

I am having a good time and the weather is perfect.

Of course. Around here, we put on music if it's getting too slow. That's bound to remind the phone to ring.

Gary, that sounds like a great way to celebrate my birthday. If you like coffee, you should have some kind of special coffee in honor of me too. That sounds really good right now. I made some amaretto yesterday and tonight might have some homemade cappuccino a friend gave me for Christmas.

I haven't had any in quite a few days, and just earlier I was slightly craving some. Maybe I'll go brew some.

I wanted something cold so I had a strawberry and banana smoothie. Very good.

Are you enjoying the day?

Lynn, I decided to have peach tea instead.

Actually, I had made the tea earlier and had forgotten about it, so I just heated it up in the microwave.

Does the person who accused you of only serving her water not drink coffee or do you not share your coffee?

To answer Gary's question, I am having a nice day. Thank you! The phone has rung in spurts (not all Happy Birthday mind you but we have gotten a few orders too which we really need) so I've had some hectic times and some quiet times but it's been really nice overall. I haven't gotten calls from anyone unhappy with me. That was yesterday. I really struggle with pushy people who are convinced we need to print their story. Sometimes I wouldn't even mind printing it but the pushy personality of the person can make me change my mind in a hurry. It's especially hard when I tell them that I don't make those decisions but they're convinced I can talk the editor into running it. Oh well. I'm glad I got those out of the way yesterday so today should all be nice calls which is the majority of the calls we get anyway.

Yes they are. Hey Frog. Long time no see. I trust you have been behaving.

Unlike some people we know and love...

Behaving? I'm not sure I can say that . . .

But I have been great. Had a checkup yesterday, and I am now off all diabetic and blood pressure medication; and have lost about 75 pounds since the surgery. I'm going to start looking for a job right after Memorial Day, and am considering taking some college courses. I'll try to get back here more often. Life is good. Praise the Lord!
