The Shar-Mar virus doesn't kill things; it sprinkles rose petals everywhere.

So that is what Daniel had all over his computer...rose petals!!!!!!

Well, well, well, where O where is everyone today. I go back to catch a nap and almost everyone else does the same.
Now I got a couple of errands to do before work so y'all go do your errands too.

Sorry no errands here...had to share the computer with eldest before he went to work then decided to give darling daughter a haircut...thank goodness for all those curls...covers up any mistakes I make!

My neighbor came over to give me some chocolate chip cookies she made while trying out her new KitchenAid mixer she got for mother's day...I have to say YUMMMMMMY!

Hubby called...what is this...car fall apart week???? He was enroute back to work after taking his lunch hour to take eldest to work since his car is in the repair shop...and you will not believe this...he was going over the Cooper River Bridge...they have another name for it but that's what the locals call it...not the Ravinelle...anyway...all of a sudden the back right passenger window in his pickup truck (company truck) shattered...for no apparent reason...he pulled over and tried to see if something hit it or such but couldn't find anything. Fortunately we weren't in the truck when it happened...that's right where my youngest son would sit! He did call the police to report it in case there were other such reports...thinking someone may have shot at it...but no evidence of such a thing. He went on back to work and started calling window places...they told him it will happen..just shatter without any rhyme or reason! Scarey I tell you Scaaaarrreeey!!!

Could it have been some type of a rock that hit the truck window

That IS scary! I'm glad it happened when no one was in the right seat! "Coincidence" or God's providence?

This 5/11/08 is Mother's Day this year.

Could have been but needless to say it had to have hit just right to break that glass...

Don't work too hard...

Btw...thanks for keeping the reminder of what Sam looks like while he is gone...so far he hasn't checked in so he must be lost in the Grand Canyon or having too much fun in Sin City!

LOL! If the picture wasn't so cropped, you could see more of that beautiful sparklin' white shore.

When were y'all there, Lynn?

1995 Hubby was there for Navy recruiter school and then 2005 my son was stationed in Pensacola going to Intel school while in the Marine Corps. So...I visited the beach while visiting both times...of course the last time was around New Year's so no swimming in the ocean for me!!!!

Oh...1995 I went to Panama with our church youth group as head cook and chaperone...decided then that mass food preparation was not a career path I wanted to pursue...I had to feed around 200 mouths!!!

edited for spelling...

No, not in January. Although the beach is lovely that time of year to take a walk on.

I left Pensacola in '94, so I imagine the last time I went to the beach was a couple years prior to that.

Ok...now I'm in total shock...got a shocker repair bill on son's car...it's going to cost more than the car is worth...so we are trying to decide what our next move will be. Geez Louise!!! I guess this is our week.
