pstrdebi -> Please keep us in your prayers... (5/9/2008 5:30:57 PM)

Hi...

I'm new here (this forum)... however, would love it if you could please lift my husband, myself and our ministry up. We are pastors of a small start up church in So. Oregon (spirit filled)... and we have been under such attack lately. Financially (personally... we do not get a set salary yet)... physically and emotionally.

God has been so silent. I know all the scriptures to lean on... all the claims, all the promises. Yet, the silence almost screams. We know we have been called here... we know He orchestrated every move (He has given us dreams and visions in the past... has spoken to us before... and other signs). And now, as we face tremendous hardships, we sometimes feel abandoned.

I have lived my entire life in So. Cal... and God moved us here (So. OR) 2 years ago. It's a beautiful place to look at... however... there is a terrible oppression here. We felt it as we drove in to the little town we live in for the first time. The women are so hard to get to know... praise God my husband is my best friend... my covering... my pastor... my everything.

We are struggling... and not hearing from God makes it even harder. Our faith is strong... and we continue to stand on His Word. We just feel spent and alone at times.

Thank you so much... God bless... [:)]
Pastor Debi

Lord, please help Pastor Debbie and her husband, her friend, be strong and take heart in you.

Hear their voice in accordance with your love and help them to patiently wait for you, to put their hope in your word.

Amen.

I will pray!
The best thing I have found to do in the desert experiences is;
Just Praise the Lord anyway! And as far as oppression; Just Praise the Lord anyway! And about the hard to reach women; Just Praise the Lord anyway! Keep counting your many blessings, you started with some really good ones! (Your Husband is your best friend, your covering, your Pastor, ETC!) Offer up to the Lord a sacrifice of Praise and Thanksgiving!
Your spirit will lift, your faith will ignite! You can trust the Lord!
You can count it all joy! God keeps His Promises!
(Please read Psalm 34)
God bless and bless and bless you!!!

Good Morning.
Just to let you know I'm thinking and praying for you.
The word HOPE came to my mind...
I did a word search, and there are 121 verses on HOPE!
You can find them here:

http://bible1.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?new=1&word=hope§ion=0&version=kjv&language=en

I pray that you will be blessed!

"But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more."
Psalm 71:14

Father,

Thank you for giving this family the desire to be about your business. Help them to walk and talk with you. Help them to be on the same page as you. Help them in every way that you know to be best. May you be glorified in their lives. I pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ.

tbrobinson -> RE: Please keep us in your prayers... (5/10/2008 9:23:35 AM)

Father I pray for Debbie and her husband. I pray you bless their work there, that the people would open their hearts and be receptive. Please give them courage and strength to continue the work, even when the have wilderness moments.

In your son precious name, Amen

Debbie, one of my favorites is Psalm 27.13, and 14. I am still confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord while in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord

pstrdebi -> RE: Please keep us in your prayers... (5/10/2008 12:20:09 PM)

Thank you all for your continued prayers...
what a blessed feeling.

Barbi, Sparks, JMCrwd...
Thank you... I appreciate you so much.

Ignited....
Thank you for your prayers and for thinking of us. "Hope" I was just telling God this morning in my prayer closet.... "My hope is in You, I have no other." Thank you for the link.

Peaceof God...
"to be about your business"... that is a term my husband always uses. Thank you for your prayers.

tbrobinson...
"Please give them courage and strength"... and this was the very first verse my husband gave to me when we were courting... "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be terrified, do not be dicouraged; for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Thank you all again.... and God bless...
Pastor Debi

Keeping you covered in prayer!
(We are all closer than you think.
Look out your window, we all see the same
sun, moon, and stars!)
We (believers) are One Body In Christ!
When one hurts, we all need to pray and help
and stick together! We need the Lord, and we
also need each other! We are family!
Our Father in Heaven is Faithful!
You are blessed!

Pastor Debi,

Tonight may God bless you and keep you, may he give you peace and rest, and a renewed vitality for tomorrow. We are all in this together. Each one of us has our own issues to commit to the Father.

I pray that you have a positive result tomorrow, a special sign that you know that you are there for a purpose.

I was talking with my father today, he is a retired pastor, 45 years, has ALS, almost 90% paralyzed, hard to understand, but he reminded me that satan uses discouragement as his best tool. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED, you can do this. And when you reach the time of the accounting you will hear, well done, good and faithful servant, enter into your reward.

Gods Blessings on you and your husband,

Tim

I was just telling someone that even though we can't be together physically, we are together in spirit.
Thank you so much.

tbrobinson...

Pastor Debi,

I was talking to Dad again, he is a stronghold for me in this valley I am in in. He shared that problems are like thorns, grasp them gently and they **** you, grasp them hard and you control them.

Rest tonight in the verse, for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Gods blessings on your ministry
