HigherNote4U -> Questions for the Pro's (5/10/2008 6:50:41 AM)

Since I have noticed that a lot of professional artists post on here and some sneak under the radar from time to time, I thought it would be neat to start a post where people could ask particular questions about the industry, certain artists, songs, etc. Maybe the artists in question would take the time to answer these questions personally.

Any takers? Enquiring minds want to know.

OK, I have a question: was Huggy Bear really Harold's nick name before he went with the kingsmen? I thought you should know[:D]

Here's a question for pro groups and artists that I've often wondered...

How far in advance do you start listening to new material for future recordings, and as most professional artists use top producers do they pick all of the songs for you to choose from or do you bring songs to the producer if a songwriter sends you one you like?

Second question. On average how much cost is involved to record a top notch project (not a table project) from start to finish?

No! He does have a nickname from childhood that my sister and I used to call him as well as one from school when he played sports but he would not be happy if I told so just know it was not Huggy Bear.[:D] Huggy Bear is a better choice but not near as funny. As I told Brian, if you need a good Huggy story.....I have 37 years worth. LOL!

tenorsister,
I was there in Gaffney, SC a couple of weeks ago when your avatar photo was taken. Were you at that concert? If so, I wish I could have met you.

No this picture came from my space. But it would have been great to been there and had the opportunity to meet you. I am planning on going to Bryson City in July.
