Please pray for my kids' dad (my ex-husband) as he will have heart surgery tomorrow morning at 5:30am. I know he's having the aortic valve replaced and I believe the aortic root as well. This is his second heart surgery, the first was in '99. My kids are worried about their dad and are asking for prayer for him.

I will be praying for him. Lord, please watch over this man who is a father to these precious children, please guide the surgeons hands to be stead and that the surgery is a success. Please give him peace, and his children peace to not worry about their dad, and know that God will be right there by his side...

I am praying for you and your family and definitely understand. I am 19 and my dad just had the same valve replaced in December. He has many health problems such as diabetes and is overweight and everything went fine. Better than they even expected. I am sure things will go well. Supportive people in a time like that is essential. Let me know how things go!

Please be with him throughout the surgery and the recovery. I ask that you help him in such a way that his relationship with you will be enhanced. May his walk with you from this point forward be better-than-ever. Please comfort the children, giving them extra faith through this ordeal. We pray for him and for the children in Jesus' name.
