ORIGINAL: djv1255 In four (or two years) of a democratic party president and Congress, you may end up with a new cabinet post. The Secretary of Peace and Non-Violence will head up the Dept. of Peace and Non-Violence. And once created, it will be extremely hard to get rid of.[sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif] If you are a conservative, you MUST vote for the conservatives and CINO McCain. I think that for one thing, there is a difference between being a CINO and a RINO. McCain is certainly a RINO, but at least from a liberal or even libertarian perspective, he probably isn't a CINO. I can't speak for conservatives- only libertarian-leaning liberals. McCain favors balanced budgets and wants to get to the root of the tax problem- too much spending. He favors a strong military and a small government. I think one of the few places where he differs from traditional conservatism is on environmental issues and campaign finance reform, but in both cases, I'm not sure how much this interferes with core conservative values.
