Dh told me about this this morning and it's just terrible. How many of us have worried that this would happen in our own families? So very sad.[:o]

My prayers are with him and his family. I do pray that the Lord will comfort him and especially the teenage son who was unfortunately a part of the tragic accident.

That's just terrible for the whole family. I couldn't begin to understand what it would be like to be in their position. Just need to keep them in prayer.

This is so sad. Being the mother of a child that is not far off of her age, it makes me so thankful that I have her for the short time that I do have her. I couldn't imagine going through this. Even moreso, I couldn't imagine having to go through this for the world to see. I pray, that many that don't know Christ would see Him in this family, and that God would be glorified through this tragedy.

This is an interview he did about the song Cinderella that has been all over the airwaves. I have heard some people say that it is just a mushy song to make you cry, but it has reminded me, that sometimes I just need to stop what I am doing and be with my daughter. that the dishes and the laundry can wait. That if I don't take the time now, I can't get it back later

I agree with you. I too will keep this family in prayer. Nothing is more painful than the loss of a child and with this family the double tragedy is dealing with the teenage son who was involved. They definitely need our prayers at this time and the coming months and years.

What a horrible tragedy. [:(] I know they are all hurting, but I can't imagine the enormous pain and guilt of her brother. I so pray that God brings comfort and peace in a very real way to them.

As a hopeful father waiting to adopt, I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. You have touched the lives of millions with the musical gift God blessed you with. Know that we grieve with you, but give praise that Maria has bypassed the 'princes,' and now resides with the King.

In 1992 I ran over my then 2 year old daughter in our driveway. I had been recently saved and a friend introduced me to Steven's music. I found such comfort and hope through his art. My daughter was a twin and her sister is graduating from high school on Saturday. I thought that was causing me to have a hard time until I got the news about Maria. I'm a mess! I am praying for the family, especially the parents and Maria's brother. I can emphathize with their pain. I pray that God gives them the same comfort and hope that I received in my time in the Valley...
