I love a well done theme album (well-done being the operative phrase here!). What are your favorites, what would you recommend?

My faves are:

The Thirteenth Step by A Perfect Circle, Maynard Keenan's addition to the 12 steps as he recovered from his drug and alcohol addiction (sadly, I'm guessing he's already gone back to his old ways)

She Must and Shall Go Free by Derek Webb, all about the Church

Blink by Plumb, as a mom to little ones, this homage to motherhood touches my heart

The ultimate theme album, Tommy by the Who.
Quadrophenia - Also The Who (mods vs. rockers)
Pink Floyd's "The Wall"
Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here"
Bowie "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars"

Pink Floyd always comes to mind first on this type of question. ; ) I would add "The Division Bell" and "Dark Side of the Moon". Perhaps the best one though would be "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".

On a christian front an excellent one was Rich Mullins' "The World As Best As I Can Remember It Volume 1". Actually that was an outstanding theme album by any standard.
