The other day my husband and I were with the kiddos at Starbucks, and we were discussing how husbands have a hard time giving their wives undivided attention. I was telling him how I sometimes see older women out shopping with their older husbands, and the husbands are so kind and gentle and are just enjoying themselves being with their wives...

So I think we should have a business where older gentlemen who simply enjoy the companionship of women can be available for chatting over coffee, playing a long lazy game of Scrabble, listening to her stories and actually looking AT her while she talks, telling her fun and interesting stories from the past, reading the paper together and discussing the articles, etc.--think somewhere between a father and a grandfather type person--

We can call it RENT-A-COOT.

There you go.

Wow! This describes CS . . . 'ceptin' he didn't have wild outgrown nose and ear hairs, he kept his hair and bead neat, and man, was he sure fun to look at.

If THAT's what a coot is, then alright; way-to-go!

Hi Judy and hello to Mike also. Mike I missed your last post here so hope you see this one. Usually just do a drive by post in the PFY threads and go back to SG forums.

Judy, have not read your blog as yet but it must be about the restaurant with the rising table. We saw that a few years ago when we were in Branson. Fun to watch it slowly rise.

See y'all.

Hey Kerr, Terri, Sharon-Marie, Santa and Mike. Good to see you all this morning.

That table was funny. There are always so many new people in Branson and so I guess the joke never wears out. All of those working there keep a very good humor about it too.

We have a cloudy and cool day today. May get a little rain later today. It feels like Fall is in the air.

Sam, if you should visit me today, please know that I am thinking of and praying for you and your family.

God bless all of you today.

It has been a busy day. I finally got myself a facebook account. It has been fun and putting pictures on was so easy. I guess all of it was easier than I thought it would be. If you have a facebook account and want to be my friend, you are most welcome.

Oh Santa, I've been blind before. Somehow I thought that you were only about 700 posts behind me instead. From what you posted in the Posters Link thread, you said that you will likely be losing much more as well! You really need to post in more of these PFY threads among others. Maybe even start your own thread too!

Happy Monday everyone. Fall is in the air here. I love the Fall but living in Missouri, I love all the seasons.
Guess I'll play in facebook for a while. It is still new to me but at least I have pictures on and am learning something new about it every day.

Good Afternoon Judyland!!!
I was out of town for the weekend and unable to make a stop in here so I'll try to make up for it this week.

Glad you're home Judy...sounds like you had a wonderful time last week. I got to see my guys...Booth Brothers...on Friday night. I got to go with Ruth aka MissGizmo and my mother. We had a blast! It was kind of last minute but I was able to get 2 tickets right beside Ruth's...she bought her's in May!!! So I believe the good Lord meant for me to go!

Wish I could go to NQC this year but doesn't look like I will. So I can plan for next year.

Hi Ya Lynn,
I am so excited that we both had such a good time. I just wish the whole world could feel like we do. I don't know Ruth but love her posts. God sure did take care of you and I so enjoy the stories that say "God loves us more than anybody." I so want to be at the NQC but hubby is still working and it was not possible this year. Maybe some day.
