I paid $3.99.

Is there an abundance of jobs there?

If so, do you need a daughter?

The daughter part would be a YES.
Abundance of jobs---not sure but everytime I go to my bank there is another new teller. Same way at Walmart and grocery store. Don't know where they all go. Probably to a larger city with better pay.

hey Terri, how's every little thing with you this afternoon????

Well....my mom is being a poop-head again.

She looked at me today and said plain as day, "Your time here grows short."

I was a bigger person and just walked away.

Not 5 minutes later she was like, "I think you need counseling."

Once again, being an adult, I said, "I'm the happiest i've ever been. The only wrong is I don't have a job."

Other than that, i'm perfectly well! I am so very happy with where my life is leading me.

ETA: Yes I know calling her a poop-head isn't very adult...lol

If I told her to "chill" i'm sure i'd get backhanded. I've got 13 days to find a job...lol...otherwise i'll be packing.

Not really? Are you just pulling my leg? If not, I could share how lonely it is not having children and how I would adopt you in a minute.

Judy, I am so not pulling your leg. My mom and I have this love/dislike relationship. We love each other because we are family, but we really don't like each other at all.

She is so serious about the out thing. I'm surprised she hasn't found me boxes yet.

Well, I can so not relate to that. Mom and I always got along and she was my best friend right up to the minute she died. The best friend part was only after I got married and was an adult.

We are friendlier than we used to be, but still like oil and water. I hope to one day be friends with my mom. We do much better apart though.

My Mom was a very sweet, loved everybody kind of lady. She always saw the good in everyone. Yes, that made me crazy part of the time when someone was being a jerk and making me angry. However, she taught me a lot.

My mother is my polar opposite. She is unsociable, angry and sometimes just downright rude. If i've learned anything from her, its how not to treat people.

Good Evening Santa. Things are okay but just a little tired. I am praying that we can make the trip. Must see an Oral Surgeon this next week. Something going on with me----not sure what but we will see. I'll keep you posted. Have a great evening!

Hey Terri, That ironing did wear me out. My back kinda gave me fits. I am just resting now after dinner. How is everything with you?

Things are good. Still job searching. Ugh. Still haven't received any call backs. I pray I find something soon. I'm going to stay with a friend this weekend, so hopefully that will help alleviate some of the stress.

Glad to hear that you will be with a friend. The weekends need to be a little different. If not, days start running together for me. You know----all work and no play kinda thing. Oh wait a minute--is Facebook and forums "play"?

A little. I need human interaction though (my parents don't count!). It'll be good to get out for a while.

Good Morning Mike,
We are having a great weekend. We have been to the Harvest Festival at SDC and now we are planning a relaxing day here in Branson before heading home later today.
You have yourself a wonderful Sunday!

BTW I have photos of the festival over on my facebook.

Judy, cool, I will have to check that out the next time I sign into Facebook. I am still a little bit lost over there though.

Thought I should check in if we are not going to be able to use the forums tonight.
We are home from a really nice weekend in Branson. The weather was perfect. Gas was $2.94 a gallon and the Harvest Festival at SDC was just great!!! Always good to be home safe.

Hi Judy!

Glad you two had such a fun weekend. That price you paid for gas is awesome! Hope it drops to that here as well.

I'm praying for your request. Will check in to see what the surgeon says.
