and one of my 4 refrigerator magnets (i like to keep everything very neat and tidy in there, can you tell? lol) says:

i prefer hostess fruit pies to pop-up toaster tarts because they don't require so much cooking.

Now you can eat Poptars cold you know? I do that.

And with butter!

With buttah, now I haveht thought of that!

i KNOW we've had this discussion somewhere on here before. butter on pop-tarts ROCKS!!!!

Now...are you guys saying butter on cold poptarts? Good thing you can't see my face as I type that question. I like butter but it has to be melted and well blended into things. My young sister use to sneak into the butter dish and take big globs out and eat it like that and that just makes me kind of feel gaggy.

no......definitely HOT....so there's a little puddle...and you can cut your pop-tart into bites with a fork and stir it around before poppin it in your mouth!

Alright...it's past my bed time...so good night all!

I need to keep my sleep up this week because I have an official trainer here this week and I thought it was going to be a breeze since one of the office gals kind of showed me a lot of stuff last week. Well....I found out I've been trained wrong so I'm having to switch gears again...ugh...very draining. I did have a few moments of feeling like I wanted to run away and never come back today. BUT....I still love my job. I just hate the not knowing what I'm doing feeling.

Good night!

i DO have hotpads........but only cuz i exchanged a more domestic gift my mom got me for christmas (with her permission, of course). they are a beautiful red...to match the placemats i bought (which was really all i cared about....cuz they're pretty mexican-y striped and make my nasty 70s kitchen look more tolerable).

I have one potholder. But I'm not allowed to use it. (Gift from a friend who makes them as a hobby. Nobody is allowed to actually use them. We can only look at them and appreciate them as art.)

I have extra hotpads in case anyone needs them. My mother and sister, used to knit them and give them to me as gifts.

I also have extra pots and pans too.

I do know what you mean. And I don't really think it's coincidence. I think sometimes God orchestrates these kind of encounters.

Thanks! I think He was just preparing me, in a way, for her visit... wanted to make sure I was in the right frame of mind.

quote:

Wow......i dont think it happens.....but, i gotta think about things......
I dont believe anything is a coincidence.........i believe things happen for a reason.
i kindof have a story........i really see one of my really big dreams coming together......its been hard work, and i get soo discouraged and ready to hand in the towel so easily.......but, last weekend i was at my parents house.....and my mom had checked all of these books out of the library......well, as i was roaming around their home.....i came across one of the books......it was written by a Naomi Wolf, the authors name really got me......and then i looked at the title, and then started reading.......it was a book about living your passions.......using your lifes energies for things u are passionate aobut.........and the other day i was at walmart, when i looked at some books it was cure for the common life......another book about finding your sweet spot and living there...........i know long story......but, that stuff blew me away, as in i'm getting it from everyone.......and everywhere, dont be afraid.....it is time for you to move on!!!!!
to live the life u were born for........words that get me all tingly......but, in the near future will be more then words!

I don't believe in coincidences, either. I was just sorta throwing out the term. But this is cool. And it reminds me of last week's sermons by two very different pastors and yet the said the same thing... that I had read in my devotional time that week!! And right after God said "Listen". Um... you've got my attention, God!!

You just need to meet my friend Gail. After about five minutes she'll try to get you to make one. (Whether you ask or not!)

pretty well. Still a little chilly today. The heat doesn't really "build up" in our downstairs area much so in winter it can be pretty, well, cool.

It's great in summer though.

I am in a lower level apt, so I the heat isn't as bad, however Boston does get very humid during the Summer though.

Yeah, tell me about it! Things are much hotter and humid down south though, as Lisa, Tink, Tina, Lisa, Michelle, Skreyola and Rosie will tell you!

Is Lisa on there twice because she's more vocal about it?

I'm sure... Hot I can deal with, but humid as well...

EDIT: Great catch, Robb!
