Ok, this is 8 mins, but please give this a listen, you may not agree with parts of the story, i know i didnt. But it will absolutely make you think and i was unsettled by it. what do you think?

Yes, it was an unsettling video, but even more disturbing were some of the comments in response to it... Lord, have mercy.[:o]

I had to stop reading the responses- pure evil. I have been so used to reading the types of comments on this site that when I read the hatred spewing from that site, I had to run and cover my eyes and ears..then pray. [&o]

I think the young man who wrote it is going to be an amazing evangelist one day. the second one-"Don't bother me" was equally moving. How many of us sit on our behinds without ever thinking that our actions say "Don't bother me"? How many of us say we love our friends and family, yet never tell them about Jesus? Is the only evangelizing we do, here on this forum or another "Christian" website? Doesn't our responsibility lie outside of a computer as well? I'm not judging because I too am guilty of this at times. I have seen a letter similar to this awhile back. it struck me then too, that I am not doing enough to spread the gospel. Most of my friends are Christians, yet my in-laws are not. I love them dearly, yet I haven't fully broached salvation to them. They know that I am a Christian, yet I wonder if they have ever thought about why I haven't told them. These were the thoughts that this video created in my head.

The one line that says "wish you were here" is still giving me the creeps. God grant me the boldness to never miss an opportunity to witness.

Well, some of the comments are more disturbing than the video itself. BTW, I happened to see the "Oprah's blasphemy" link....more and more people of all kind decide their own fate! God have mercy...thank You for loving me, Jesus Christ, amen.

Yes, while we do allow links to youtubes as long as they don't violate our TOS for content, we do caution those that choose to read the comments that there can and probably will be vulgar language. It's a real shame.

I commend the author. Good stuff. I too hope to put some Christian videos on YouTube one day; it's a good outlet for the Gospel.

Comments? Yeah they're a shame. I guess I can stomach them more than most because I understand somewhat where they are coming from. Don't like them though.

I was reading some of the responses to the video, and was it the most sad, that some of the people that left comments..One person said that if we all sin we got to hell anyway, and what makes "us" christians think we are better than them...Very sad, obviously shows you that this
person knows nothing about christianity or the bible...We are no better than anyone else. God
loves all of us, if you are saved and confess it with your mouth and from the heart then you
will go to heaven. That does not say we are better than nonchristians, has nothing to do with it..
I feel very sorry for those that think this way because when they finally wake up and realize that there really is a heaven and hell, it will be too late for them.....

I am no better than anyone else, but I do believe that since i confessed The Lord is my Savior and he died for my sins and all of ours and there is a heaven and hell most definitely!!!

Wow is that creepy.It makes me want to go out there and tell more people about Jesus,and his dying for us. I hate the thought of one of my friends going to Hell!.

Damned by men if you do and damned by God if you don't?

Paul makes it clear, men have no excuse for not honouring God for what was to be known about God has been made clear to all men. Hence, our salvation is not dependant on our saving the world for in the final analysis we would all fail and if a man could comprehend doing this, he would be in danger of thinking he had achieved something even Christ could not do. If anything to whom much is given much is required, hence, a man's rejection of the gospel can in many cases only confirm a man's damnation rather than save him.

The condemation the friend lays at his feet will not carry much weight in Gods eyes for if we are guilty of not telling men then so too is God. In the end, men may go to hell not because they simply have not heard the gospel but because they heard it and rejected it, Christ, truth, love and all things righteous. I also do not beleive men can be saved simply because they don't want to go to hell. God does not take prisoners when He has sons!

If there be no comdemnation those who are Christ, then is this presentation misleading in trying to lay comdemnation where no comdemnation can be laid?

Terryjohn, since it was i who made this post i just gotta say.......your right. i saw the vid with some fascination, the whole fear and permanence of hell i found compelling. And your right, wanting to avoid hell will not get you into heaven.

God draws people tp him, remember?????? I grew up with this garbage and am so sick of leaders putting guilt trips on their congregations because a family member or neighbor isn't saved. Argh.[&o]

No one can make anyone feel guilty if they are not.

Should I take my 6 year old to view an embalming so she can know what happens to her if she rides her bike in traffic? I know, not the best analogy, but there it is.

I think this kind of evangelizing is annoying at best. Definitely turned me WAY OFF and would not have turned me toward Christ if I already didn't believe.

I thought the presentation was grotesque.

My take on this video is that the author is giving too little credit to God to make Himself known to the person destined to hell. Yes, we are called to share the gospel with other people, but I am of the opinion that God will make sure that every human being will have an opportunity to know about Jesus one way or the other. I don't know how He does it, He's God I'm not, but there are lots of people in the world who have very little or no chance of ever hearing about Jesus, so God must make Himself known to them in some way.

There was another video with the Letter from Hell video that I watched about a man who had a near death experience. He had crashed in an airplane and died but then was brought back to life. He related his encounter with the after life. He was a nonbeliever at the time he died. He came back to life a believer. Whether his experience was real or not, it seemed a more realistic story than the Letter from Hell video.

Well. i dont think the point of this video was to evangelize the lost lol, it was so those who are saved wont be timid in sharing the good news.

That is how I took it too, it instantly made me think of those that can send me that kind of letter. Yikes.

I totally agree. My husband cried after viewing it. If the guy is a lyer ( sorry dont know how to spell it correctly) he is very good.

For what purpose????? Do we save or does God do the saving???? Does God really need us to save people? No. DId you read the verses in Romans I posted?[&:]
