There is no rabbit in the hat, nothing up their sleeve. They messed up-- it's as simple as that. Except that it is now well known, thanks to former cabinet and staff members that G was working on a plan to sell going to Iraq to the american people from the get-go. 9/11 provided a convenient way to manipulate us into going along. Oh, and they only looked at intelligence that suited their preconceive notions about what they wanted to do. Everything else was discarded. So do I think there's some sort of conspiracy? Nope, just plain good old fashioned incompentence from the C student running the show. November can't get here fast enough for me.
