Please join me in prayer for those who are in the flood areas and having tornados and storms. Dear Heavenly Father I come you you asking for protection. I pray Lord for those in the line of the storms across the country to be safe. Protect their lives and homes Lord. Be with them and assure them that you are ever near. I pray Lord that you would cease the rain in these areas and help the water to recede. I pray Lord the you would calm the storms across the country and stablize the atmospheres. Lord I pray you would provide for those who have suffered loss and devastation because of these storms and floods. Make a way for them to get through the trials they are facing. Send help and encouragment Lord to those in need. Bless the agencys who are always so willing to help like the Red Cross Lord be merciful and hear this prayer. Pour out your healing grace and love. In Jesus precious name Thank you Dear heavenly Father Amen

Thank you Lord for sparing lives as the storms went through the other night. Help those Lord who have damaged homes and buisnesses Bless all the volunteers who offer their time to cleanup or help in anyway. Lord I pray for all those who are in the areas with storms today or tonight. Lord protect them and their homes. I pray Lord you will calm the storms. Be with those in flood areas Lord and keep them safe. Lord I pray that the rain would cease in those areas and the waters would recede. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. In Jesus name Amen

Father God, You know all we would pray to You before we begin, and Your Spirit is poised and ready to groan it all out to You. You know everyone we might try to encourage to pray for things like total loss of property, loss of family members lives, and the terror experienced in living through a world that's no longer recognizable. One where things suddenly do not behave as they always have, and deep truths are recognized about how precious life is. Thank You for loving us, especially during such times, and thank You for the means in which we can join together from all over Your creation in prayer for the hurting. Lord, as I watched a home simply be ripped in half and fall into flood waters, and part or an entire house simply go floating down the river, my heart aches for the children of the families that have survived this, and realize everything they've known as theirs is now gone. Father God, comfort the children involved in this recent natural disaster, especially those that have lost a parent or both. I pray this and join in praying the words of those before me for a part of Your creation that if I've heard right has never known the strength of mighty waters. In the precious and comforting name of Jesus, I'm praying, Amen

Lord be with those in the areas of the floods. Lord give them comfort and peace. Lord I pray you will move in each community in a mighty way. Protect those Lord who are volunteering and helping. Keep them safe and give them strength. Lord I pray you will help the waters to recede quickly. I bring this to you Lord with a humble heart. Praying for your mercy and love to embrace these families and communities. Lord carry them through and draw them closer to you each day. Thank you Lord for having this all in your hands. I pray Lord that the rain would cease in the flood area,in Jesus name Lord I plead with you to recede the water in flooded areas. Help those Lord who have lost or had to leave their homes. Fill them Lord with renewed faith and hope for a better tomorrow Watch over and heal the children who have been negativly affected. Our great God, You don't let anything come upon us that hasn't first been sifted through Your mighty hands. You don't let anything come upon us for no reason but for the reason of drawing near to You. So, I pray that those affected who know You would draw closer and closer to You in a way they've never known before, finding You all-sufficient and an ever-present help in time of need. And, I pray for those who don't yet know You, Jesus, to be inexplicably drawn to You, to Your salvation, to Your peace. Amen.

(My mother-in-law and father-in-law are in Waterloo, IA... only 2 blocks from the river and everything around them is flooded.) Father... we come to You with outstretched arms asking that you You speak to this storm, "Peace be still." Lord, please cause the waters to reseed... cause the rains to stop Lord, and bring healing to the mid-west in the wake of this disaster. Father, bless the families that are affected... and the farmers who depend upon their crops... especially Lord, the Amish... who depend so much upon an income from their small farms. Lord, be with the children and the animals... be with all of those who are hurting from the loss. Thank You Father... that You are in control. Amen

Lord thank you for protecting our community once again last night through the storms and flood watches. I pray Lord for the families of the children which were lost last night at the boy scout camp in Iowa. Be with them Lord in their grief and hold them close to you. I pray you will comfort them and heal their pain. Lord I pray you will watch over all the areas in danger and be with all in the paths of the storms and floods. I pray Lord for your continued protection Thank you Lord for always being with us. Thank you Lord for calming the storms and rains Amen

Our Lord, You are great and mighty and good. Thank You for watching over those in peril. Please continue to guard and protect folks like kyl and others whose counties and communities keep being inundated. Please wrap Your comforting arms around those who now miss the ones killed by the tornadoes. May Your amazing love and incomprehensible peace surround those who know You and bring salvation to those who don't yet know You. Amen.

I am also continuing to pray for those that have gone thru the storms and floods. I pray for the Lord to touch each person's life as well as the elderly and the kids. I pray for them to have every need met and to give praise to our Father God. I pray this in Jesus Name, Amen Connie Lou

Lord I pray that you will be with the many people who are in the flood areas. I pray Lord for their safety and protection. Be with those who have had to leave their homes and towns. Lord I ask you to come to their aid. May the water recede with exceptonal speed. Lord I pray that you will provide for the many in need. Be with them Lord and keep them comforted and hopeful of brighter days. Be with all the agencies which are also there to help Lord. I pray Lord that they will have excess of needed supplies and volunteers. Our Father in Heaven, We ask that you be with those who have lost everything in these disasters Lord. We ask that you be with the Red Cross and all others that are lending assistance. We ask that you give some peace and comfort to those hurting thru this. We ask that you let your love show and reclaim them thru you Lord. We ask that they be reminded that You are always there for them Lord. We ask that their lives be re-built better than before as a testimony to You Lord. We ask these things in Jesus Name, Amen. Be with them Lord in all they do and draw them close to you. I pray Lord for all the volunteers and workers who are offering their time and services to help. Protect them Lord and bless them with your provisions. Lord I pray that the rivers and watersways would recede quickly. Lord I thank you for being in the midst of all that is going on. I thank you for all the lives you are watching over and changing through these happenings. Lord I pray that you will hear this prayer and be mericful and gracious to the people in these areas. Calm the rains and storms and direct the waters away from the communities. Lord I pray that you heal the pain and sorrow of those who have lost their homes and buisnesses. Help them Lord to rebuild their lives in a way which will glorify you. Thank You Lord for the many things you are doing that we cannot see. Lord, We thank you each and every day that the sun comes out to help the waters recede in this situation. We thank you for the assistance sent to the disaster sites to help people there. We ask that You provide the needs to each individual during this time of devastation. We ask you Lord to protect each ones belongings left from thieves and looters.
