You say you use one type at night and another in the morning...Are you showering in the morning before you use your deodorant? The reason I ask is this: I went through a time of PROFUSE sweating in my armpits and so I would in the middle of the day put on some more deodorant...what I found (for me) was that it seemed to make me sweat worse!! It was as though it clogged my pores and increased the sweating.

If you walk at lunch and are unable to shower afterwards I would highly recommend going into the bathroom after you walk and washing your armpits before re-applying deodorant so that you don't clog your pores. Once you start to sweat and smell you have to wash with soap; more deodorant won't do the trick. I never re-apply anymore unless I am able to wash out the old first. It has worked for me. Hope that helps.

I always shower in the morning, I often shower at night. The directions on the Secret Clinical Strength say to put it on at night, regardless of when you shower. It's not supposed to come off in the shower if you shower the next day. It also says that you can apply more of it or a different variety in the morning if you need extra protection (I do).

I often will go to the bathroom to wipe of the yuckies from my lunchtime walk. I just feel so gross otherwise.

Well, I have never tried clinical strength Secret (I do use regular Secret though) but I did order a product online called "Maxim." You put that on at night too and it isn't supposed to wash off in the shower. I don't think it did. I put it on at night, then in the morning I would run and my armpits didn't even sweat during my run!!! THAT was a weird sensation!! But then I would take a shower and put on my regular deodorant... I didn't sweat but my armpits broke out into such an itchy rash that I had to stop using it!! I don't know if it was because of putting on my regular deodorant or from shaving or what...

Thankfully my sweating has gotten a LOT better, but on those days when I sweat a lot I just do the wash and re-apply deal. I feel for you! It's a rotten problem to have.

I use J*A*S*O*N Tea Tree Oil deodorant (scroll down a bit to see the Tea Tree one). I use to use the Wild Yam one, but just recently switched to the Tea Tree one and I really like it.

I don't use anti-perspirants (haven't for 20+ years).

I don't wear it on any sort of regular basis, but I have some Nature's Gate and Tom's for when I do. And a crystal. They are all excellent. Not shaving my armpits helps, too.

Me too.

Although I knew a woman who was a "naturalist." She ate only healthy foods, didn't wear make-up or shave and used only natural soaps/shampoos (I think she made them) and she never wore antiperspirant, deodorant or perfumes. She never smelled bad that I remember.

Do you remove the hair at all, Miasma? I do epilation and that helps. Really... I don't sweat as much when I do epilation as when I shave... but I still sweat a lot. Lucky me...

I use mens deodarant, Old Spice Red Zone. The Pure Sport is the least scented. I also shower morning and evening. Using an antibacterial soap helps because it is the bacteria that actually causes the odor.

I usually use lady speed stick, but the last time I bought degree. I'm either sweating more than I used to or it doesn't work as well as the speed stick. Anyone else use lady speed stick?

Nope. I can't think of too many things that would be more of a waste of my time.

Don't put bad, noxious things in your body, and they won't leech out through your pores.
