Beanteaser -> Was the Son of God present in Exodus 24? (6/10/2008 12:47:42 PM)

I am wondering if you think the Son of God was present on top of Mount Sinai in Exodus 24.

Exodus 24:17 (NKJV) says "The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel."

Hebrews 1:3a (NKJV) says ".......who (His Son) being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person......"

Is this a case of putting 2 and 2 together or am I comparing apples with oranges? Your thoughts?

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Thus, wherever Adonai is Yeshua(Jesus) is also.

quote:

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

I think all earthly appearances of God have been through and by the Son, who is the express image of his person.
