Yes, I believe you should look your best. However, sometimes suits and ties can make some unapproachable.
Groups- Look at the way the pastor and staff dresses, and dress approapriate.
The "MOST MEN" you talk about are not the "MOST MEN" that I know. I know ALOT of guys that own a suit and tie, and they look, oh let me see, how do I want to say this.......PROFESSIONAL.
EDIT: let me explain further my position. I don't think casual is wrong or that you MUST always wear a suit and tie, but I think that the church is in a spiraling downward path of giving up things that are good. To me, this is just one more thing of many. First the KJV to, no, not one other version but MANY versions, meeting less often, getting more wordly (in all ways--this includes dress), in faith, etc. Someone said the church is at any time only 10 years behind the world, so as the world degresses, so the church follows only 10 years behind. Does this makes sense?
