Just random thoughts go through my head but occassionally a point emerges. It just occurs to me that the quickest and best way to get in shape, lose weight, get healthy, or accomplish any other goal, is to find someone who is where you want to be, and do what they're doing or what they've done. Seems elementary but, given the fact that we rarely actually do this with our health or life in general (and I mean all of us at some point are guilty of this), it's actually quite revolutionary. If you really want something, finding someone who's got it and do what they did to get it. If you're not willing to do that, do yourself and everyone else a favor, and stop talking about it, pretending to do it, making excuses why you're not doing it, or complaining about why it wont work - if you're not doing it! I'm putting this in health and fitness because that's the context in which it came to me. But, in my head, I'm applying this to my pathetic recent attempt at starting a business. You know what, I wasn't really in it. Until/unless I can be, I need to let it go.
