Are you doing so against company policy?

I have two partners and two office employees here, and I allow the employees Internet time when things are really slow.

One partner posts here (rarely) as does one employee on occasion.

You may choose more than one option on the poll.

As a writer I work on deadline...so as long as the deadline is met...I can do pretty much what I want in my office. Well, within reason of course.[;)]

I'm the only one in my office that posts here since they would rather play mahjonng instead.[:D]

I am intrigued with the idea of people working in the same office, posting here, but no being aware of who each other is in real life.[:D]

I don't think it's against my company policy to post while at work, but seeing as I usually get to work an hour and a half before I'm required to be there, I doubt they'd begrudge me a post or two during my 20 minute lunch break [:)]

As long as it's done during our lunch breaks, my boss is really easy about what we do on the internet. He's really not too fussed. And as far as I know, I'm the only one who posts here, it's a small office.

I always wondered about this question, but was always afraid to ask it here.

My present employer doesn't have an official internet policy at all, therefore if I do sign in at work, I am not breaking any company rules or policy at all. I do not make it a habit of logging it at work at all though as my blogs and such could be incriminating to me and I really do not want my boss knowing much of my personal life at all either.

Of course if I do decide to get a job outside of the home I won't be posting from work - it just wouldn't seem right to me.

When I get to work, I often come in early and post here. When the day is over, I often sign out and then stay a little longer, posting here. I also post on breaks. I have had times when I posted during work, but then I would remove that time from my time card. When I post here for work-related issues, I don't remove it from my time card.
