please pray for me, my life is in tern oil, i have lied to my boss, once again, im a secretary, i keep screwing up at work, i do not know why, but i feel like i am being cursed for my passed sins, i do not like living like this, its as if all of the knowledge i once had is gone, and each day it gets harder for me to think clearly, to do my job right, to wake up in the morning, the enemy has been coming after me full force and will not leave me only, is my mind possessed or am i under bondage. im only 35 years old, why is this happening to me.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, ANY ADVISE WILL DO.

Pray. Fast. Talk to a pastor or christian counselor to determine what is going on.

You may want a physical checkup as well to make sure there is not some medical reason for the memory loss and lack of mental clarity.

If you have repented from your past sins this is not a result of that.

Stop lying, if you know it's wrong, just stop, don't do it. But i also agree with DaveW, you might want to get a check up a the Dr. and if you have repented for your past sins then it is not a result of that, but you may still feel guilt about it that you have to let go of. If God has forgiven you then you have to move forward and live your life for Him now.

You are feeling what you are feeling as a result of what you are thinking. Our emotions are only responders, they respond to what we are thinking. When you dwell on the negative and on error, your emotions will drag you down into that pit.

If you want to stop "feeling" like you are cursed, then stop thinking you are cursed. It is a lie. Believe the truth...

"There is no longer any condemnation for those who are in Christ."

Are you in Christ? Then that condemnation you feel is not from God. Period. If you have lied, you need to make that right with the person you have lied to. Not because God is going to zap you if you don't. But because you are indwelt by the living God. And you are His witness to the world, and God does not lie.

Replace the error you are thinking with the truth of Gods word, Error binds, but the truth will set you free...

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8

Are you getting enough sleep and exercise? Also, are you eating well - i.e. getting plenty vitamins and minerals? Depression or a lot of stress can also cause tiredness and difficulty concentrating/remembering things and that can affect people of all ages (male/female).

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a medical check-over from your doctor. It is unlikely that there is anything seriously wrong with your health and a check up will put your mind at rest and perhaps give you some help as to tackling your tiredness/forgetfulness.

Concerning lying to your boss - no need to tell you to confess this to God and forsake such. This is the sort of thing that will only pull you down spiritually and emotionally if you don't address it quickly and make you feel worse. Don't beat yourself up about it however - if you are truly sorry (which it sounds like you are or I doubt you would have posted this) then ask the Holy Spirit to help you to turn from such in future. The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin (as has been the case so that you will confess it and ask God's help to turn from it) but the devil will condemn you for such and make you think that you are not forgiven and you will do it again. Ignore such thoughts and repeat "I have confessed this sin to God and He is faithful and just to forgive me this sin and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness because His Word says so". The devil is the accuser of the brethren but if you resist Him by quoting such scripture as above mentioned, he will flee from you because he hates to hear God's Word spoken in faith.

I hope you don't mind me mentioning but when I feel a bit stressed and under pressure with a heavy workload, I ask my work colleagues to help rather than trying to do it all myself. Sometimes people don't like to ask us if we need a hand because they think that we don't want their help! It works both ways. If we help others when they are struggling - they will more than likely be willing to help us when we are under pressure. Others will be glad to realise that we too are human and like them need help from time-to-time also. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness but common sense. Don't try to do too much by yourself as you will end up burnt out.

Lord,
I am praying for dawnofthemorning. She is in turmoil and is crying out to us. Lord, she needs You! Hear my prayer on her behalf, Lord.

She has lied at work and has not dealt rightly with her boss. Lord, she has confessed her wrongdoing to us. Help dawnofthemorning confess, be utterly truthful and honest, to her boss. Lord, I pray that she will trust You with the consequences.

She is feeling condemned, Lord. Your word says that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in You. Lord, dawnofthemorning needs to be set FREE! You came for freedom, Lord, and it is the desire of Your heart to set her free. So, Lord, do what is needed to lift this burden from this precious soul. Set her free, Lord, just as you set the captives of old free. Her sin burden is too heavy. She is feeling its weight. That is not Your desire for her.

And, Lord, I pray that you give dawnofthemorning ears to hear. She needs to hear what You are saying to her. You have words for her, words of peace, words of prosperity, words of healing and hope. Speak to dawnofthemorning, Lord, and give her ears to hear, a mind that is quiet and listens, and a heart that responds rightly.

We thank You, Lord, that You are the Rescuer! Rescue this one who is crying out for Your help. Set her feet firmly on the Rock that is higher, Lord, where she can know she is safe. Thank You, Lord, for hearing this prayer in Jesus' strong and wonderful name. Amen

As gently as I can say it, get you eyes off of yourself and onto Christ. Confessed past sins have been seperated from you as far as the East is from the West.

Dear One, I have a couple of things to say, but let me couch them by saying that you are loved by the Creator of the Universe! He knit you together in your mother's womb and he grieves when you grieve. He is there for you to lean on.

I would suggest that the enemy is likely not attacking you. You are doing a fine job in beating yourself up all by yourself. I disagree with DaveW only in the sense that sometimes God allows us to reap the consequences of our actions in order to teach us something-- you can see how He did this with the Israelites in the OT numerous times. The overriding message was that He was willing to deliver them as soon as they were willing to "look up" and worship Him as their God. You can be forgiven but He may still be trying to teach you to rely on Him, not yourself-- which is what you are doing when you choose a lie over taking the consequences of the truth.

Dear One, you can do this. You need to take a breath and come clean with your boss. If he/she is not understanding of your position, then really a new job may be in order. I have been in a situation where God was leading me away from a job, but I resisted because I was not a "quitter." It ended badly and I thought I would never recover. Dear One, I did and God led me to where He wanted me to be. I now look back and see the whole episode as a precious gift where God taught me to seek Him first and set aside my pride.

You will be okay-- do see what the doctor has to say. Perhaps you have something going on that is easily fixed!

You have received much good advice, I would suggest you follow it, especially confession to boss and asking forgiveness. Let your boss know you have been stressed. But before doing so pray for your boss, pray for guidance from the Lord and the strength and ability to talk to your boss. When you get up in the morning pray before doing anything else. Ask the Lord to help you do what you need to do and to help you get through the day. Ask Him for strength. Ask Him for clearness of mind and focus. Pray again before starting work asking Him to help you in your work.

Find the words to a hymn you know and sing it each morning one that praises the Lord. If you dont think you have time sing it in the shower. Or sing while you are getting ready for work. Some of my favorites are 'How Great Thou Art' and 'Amazing Grace'. This may sound silly but it helps. If you can not find words PM me and I will send you some. Do this every morning especially when you dont feel like singing. If possible sing loud and with all you have. Sing it to the Lord. This helps to put you in a mindset of praise and awe of our Lord and Savior. And it is not easy to think of problems when you are in praise of Him.

Get into a habit of reading the Bible regularly preferably before work, or even during your lunch break from work not while at work. Pray often. Pray that the Lord will give you words to speak and help you speak to others. Dont think that the Lord is too busy to help you either. He is always there. When you need to speak say this simple prayer in you mind, "Lord help". It is the same simple prayer I have prayed before each and every song I have had to lead worship in and before each sermon I have had to preach. I know how it is to be introverted. I have great anxiety when I need to speak. Yet He is always there to help me do so, and not just for preaching or singing.

Praying often and asking for His help is a very good habit. Pray for help in doing your work. He can help you clear you mind and focus. Also the Bible says to cast your care upon Him so do so and do not take them back. Jesus tells us not to worry and to come to Him all who are weary and troubled. For He can and will give you rest.

And do still see a doctor, to be sure there is not something physical causing problems. And stop beating yourself up. Jesus loves you and does not like you beating yourself up. Not being able to speak for the others who have posted yet I am sure they would also say Jesus and I love you and will keep you in our prayers.

The only power the enemy has is the power we give him through his lies, that is why Jesus teaches us "to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" How do we do that ?With the word of God .
