Hi all. [:)]

We wanted to really study the human body this year in science with our son. He will be in 6th grade. I've looked around for some books online, Usborne, and something at Solid Rock, but I have not heard any reviews.

Do you know of a good curriculum that will help with studying the body specifically? [Muscular, skeletal, circulatory, etc]

Thanks!

I don't use traditionally structured curriculum, but a couple of WAY cool websites are-

You can see Cathy Duffy's reviews here- http://www.cathyduffyreviews.com/science/science-index.htm#human_body
I think her reviews are fairly reliable.

We don't use a structured curriculum for science...

We bought a "Magic School Bus" kit studying the human body from Edmund Scientific. It has several "experiments" to do along with some reading stuff. May be on too simple a level for your son, but there may be other things there along the same lines that will work.

Life Pac has a couple of workbooks that cover human anatomy (Science 708 and 709). It's on a 7th grade level buy my dd did them in 6th grade and really enjoyed them. You can find them at Christian Book distrubutors online very inexpensive too if you just buy the 2 workbooks and answer book.
