Hello people,
If you know the bible well then you would be of great help. I am currently fighting the good fight of faith concerning going to a country that I believe God wants me to school in. In order to win this fight, I must constantly confess the word of God till I get the visa. What scripture(s) promise me that God has plans and a destiny for me and He wants me to fulfill these plans and this destiny?

You cannot just pick verses that seem to fit what you think you should do and claim them as God's call or promise to you. You either have His call or you don't. Claiming verses does not change that.

God bless you as you fight the good fight of faith and discover His path for you...

Matthew 6:33 is a verse that directs our hearts to where God wants it to be: "Seek first His kingdom and His righteous..." If you are wholeheartedly and patiently waiting on God, seeking Him and only Him, then He will guide you in due time. Don't let the goal itself be what you seek first, even if it is an honorable and godly goal, but seek Jesus first. He will put His desires in your heart as you seek HIM. Let the Lord be your first goal, and then He will guide you as He sees fit in His timing.

Also, read Psalm 63. It also directs us to where God wants us to be before we go anywhere else (resting in God Himself).

May you soon know His direction for you as He leads you in the path of faith... Amen.

On of my ever favourite biblical verses whenever I go thru tought times is this one:

“We know that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Akinaluwa, I feel the best thing for you to do here is to seek the Word yourself - use a concordance or Bible verse search engine (there is one available on this website) or just keep reading the Bible. As you fill yourself with God's word, asking the Holy Spirit to enlighten you, He will make clear to you what it is He wants you to do. It might be overnight, or it might be 6 months. But seeking Him, as others have said, is more important than the calling itself. [:)]

Father, I do ask You to bring to this poster's mind the things of Your Word that You want them to consider and meditate on. We do ask for Your direction for their life. In Jesus Name we ask
