I’ll Follow was produced by Johnny Minick, Michael Sykes, and Aaron Minick. Orchestrations were arranged by Lari Goss and Camp Kirkland. I’ll Follow was mixed by Aaron Minick and Eddie Crook.

Producer Johnny Minick said, “It has been a joy to be a part of the production team for this project. My thanks to Bill, Ed, Mike, Paul, and Eddie for the contribution of their talents and their dedication to this long awaited revival of The Prophets.”

The new recording features a mix of new songs and updated versions of previous Prophets Quartet songs. Group member Paul Jackson contributed five songs to the album. Additional songs were written or co-written by John Daniel, Daniel J. Mount, Susan Farah, Johnny Minick, Terry Pillow, Charles Billingsley, Cheryl Rogers, Nathan DiGesare, and Lari Goss.

522 songs is a bunch. I've written some but nowhere near that many. Mine seem to come in spurts. God will give me 3 or 4 in just a few days. Then I may go weeks without another one coming.
Most of mine are inspired by something some says to me or in my presence and then I feel a feeling inside to put something on paper.

Daniel, am proud of you my friend.

since am unsure how God is leading the group but seems it may have at least 3 male members and possibly a fourth, I might be pm'ing you for some songs[:D]. seriously though, God gives us talents. it is up to us how we use them. and everyone has at least one talent. the parable tells us that. if we don't use them, God will take them and give to another. Daniel, you will be blessed many times over in the future.

Let me offer my congratulations! What a great accomplishment. Keep it up. Who knows, one day the song sitting a top the Southern Gospel charts could list Daniel Mount as songwriter. [:)]

Sorry Daniel. That was the mistake by the design artist, I think. They placed your name along with mine (as on "One Thing...") for the credit on a song I wrote sometime ago. It's entitled, "I Just Call It Home"...has a nice Orchestration by Camp Kirkland...anyway, let me add my congrats for your first cut. I think gospel fans will really like our collaboration. It features Mike Allen, with some step-out lines by tenor, Bill Baize. He pops a couple of high C's along the way. Fun tune!

I might as well come out and talk about something I just haven't made a big deal out of since it's just not my style. I've been pretty serious about learning songwriting since spring 1999. I list the songs I've written in a spreadsheet; while I know I've missed a few along the way, most of the ones in my files are mentioned there. Currently I have 522 songs I've written listed.

For the first few years I was writing, I wrote pretty much one per week. But over time quantity gave way to quality (I hope!), and now I'm writing more along the lines of one per month.



CONGRATULATIONS DANIEL! Hey a few thousand more and you could be the Dottie Rambo of the next generation. I'll be looking for the song. SOunds great! Keep up the good work.
