Here we have shelters with people who were flooded out, but there aren't nearly as many people in them, and they aren't dying. I think there's been maybe a dozen deaths total in this flood, and there were over 1800 death in Katrina. quote:
how do you explain the lack of looting in the midwest compared with the huge amount of looting in New Orleans? There was some looting reported recently on the news here, but the situation is pretty much under control.
