Funny, it feels like it wasn't too long ago when all of the sexual shenanigans of Bill--coupled with dubious dealings with mainland China, Mark Rich, White Water, etc... wasn't supposed to be a big deal, as long as he does his job for the working/middle class, and various minority groups (as indicated by one elderly, African-American woman when she said in a past, Time magazine article, that any number of affairs are OK).*

Now it seems with this year's cutthroat, DNC nomination process--especially with Hillary's recent concession speech,I can't help but think that the former chief executive, previously nicknamed, "The first black president," has his presidential-aspiring wife, sidestepped by another Senator who I believe should technically, fulfill that role more accurately! Anyone who kept up with the news lately will tell you that the onetime popular president, who once governed with a need to feel loved (hence the triangulation strategy with domestic policy, maybe even foreign), now seems to be throwing a temper tantrum, bemoaning Barak Obama as some upstart who gotten lucky (with one particular primary, akin to Jesse Jackson's prior win), and hence, destroying whatever positive legacy Bill could've forever etch in stone for history to come. It's as if the man once affectionately known as "Slick Willie," finally proved what many of his then-political adversaries (under Newt Gingrich's/Bob Dole's Congress) have been saying all this time! Did I mentioned that recent Vanity Fair article?
It's rather tragic, if not farcical to think that the former prez that once wanted to be loved by everyone, is now morphing into just another narcissistic, baby-boomer brat, never able to move past his onetime Oval Office glory.
Whether or not Obama will be more effective president is a different story!
