I didn't know they are called tramp stamp Actually, I think that slang term refers only to a specific kind of tattoo - those on the lower back. And Gary is right - the term comes from pop culture, not Christian circles. Though that doesn't change the fact that many Christians disdain tattoos in general. Personally, I'm not fond of tattoos, but that's just a matter of my aesthetic taste, nothing more. I don't believe the mere presence of a tattoo even qualifies as a warning flag, much less a deal-breaker. (Though as Gary noted if the actual content of the tattoo were ugly and/or offensive that'd be a different story.) Again, if someone were to be so judgmental as to pass you up simply because you had a tattoo, that's their loss. Not on you. -Robb EXCELLENT!! I personally don't want a tattoo, so I won't get one. I have friends who have them, they don't stop being my friends because they have a tattoo. I didn't reject them as a potential friend because I saw they had one. But we are geting off topic so I'll hush . . . . . . . carry on!
