Oh well, I was trying to put a pic of Dylan on here. But I don't know how. Dee, I went garage sale hunting this morning. Found lots of bargains. My secret family exchange person is getting some of what I bought. I got starter plant mums for .10 cents a piece, was given marigold seeds (a jar full), some other flower seeds, and two houseplants for .25 each. Got a book by John Bevere called Under Cover: The Promise of Protection Under His Authority. Read a section of it already and liked what he said. That was a quarter. The Romans commentaries I found were hardcover so they were .50 cents. We are studying Romans in Sunday School. Found a map of the Holy Land, then (bible times) and now along with a map of Paul's missionary journeys. Both these maps are poster size and laminated. My last garage sale I purchased two really nice purses with several compartments for organization and a size that I can store all I like to carry. The purse I'm using is one my mom got for me and it is too small, plus it keeps falling over on my way to work and things fall out. These purses have 3 different zippered sections. I priced purses at the store and they are expensive. I got these two plus a change purse for $8.50. I am real pleased with my loot for the day. And I didn't use up a lot of gas. But now it's too hot to plant my plants and pull up weeds. I may get to it tonight when it is cooler.

Anyone else here starting to get sick? My son was sick this past week (still coughing a little) and now I've definitely caught it, or gotten an even worse case than he did :(

Thanks hun! I'm almost hoping to hear someone at church say "Yea, something is going around" because otherwise I have no clue how all this started since my son hasn't been around anything that would cause him to get a cold that I can think of. I'm starting to wonder if mine is mostly allergies, I've sneezed *LITERALLY* at least 50 times today. I've sneezed probably 7 times in the past two or three minutes :(

Got alot done today. Bills got paid (well what I could pay that is) Grocery shopping is all finished Wash is almost compleated. And the house is clean. You're reminding me of all that needs to get done here. My husband was out of town for work the past few days and although I managed to clean the house and get the washing done...we're now almost out of food lol. And I still don't know how he's only been back for a day and suddenly I have like 3 loads of laundry to do and I've already had to "re-clean" twice today.

I hope you and your son are feeling better soon, Mama. Barb, I was trying to figure out why your hubby was sleeping on the couch, but then I realized he was just napping there.... I'm glad you found some bargains, Ginny! I went to a couple of garage sales yesterday, but none today. I'm slacking. My daughter called me the other night, excited because she gets to be a counselor next week, this time for junior high girls! I was very glad to get home this evening. This morning the radio station had an open house with some activities, so we went there for a bit. Came home and got drinks, and went to the town where hubby works and picked him up to go to their "picnic" at the zoo. We ate, and then went through the museum. Then we started going through the zoo. Then I realized that the zoo closed at five. Hubby can take a long time there, so that was good in a way; we had to pick up the pace a bit. My middle two have been to the zoo enough times that they didn't care. And R was tired by then. Then we stopped at a couple of stores before we came home, and I went to the grocery store right when I got home. I was very glad to get the kids to bed tonight. Hubby went back to work after the zoo so it was a long day for him too. Dee
