Do you listen to secular music and why? And, what is your opinion of the various "genre's" as it relates to Christ Centered entertainment?

Thank you

Has your drummer, Jen, adapted well to the band and can she put on her makeup faster than John yet?

JFunashamed -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/17/2008 7:57:24 PM)

Skillet,

I would like to know how John comes up with the lyrics, i mean they are amazing and full of meaning. i recently bought Collide (and the same thing with Comatose) and the lyrics are so cool.

I watch all the podcasts and they always make me laugh.. But what is your favorite moment in Skillet history?

peanut05 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/17/2008 9:41:12 PM)

when did you become christian/when did you decide to really take your relationship with Christ seriously and was the event that made you "wake up?"

rpgmaster1 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/17/2008 10:59:55 PM)

Hello,

I was wondering how you stay centered in Christ. Particularily while on tour, when you are unable to attend your regular church.

punkprincess001 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/17/2008 11:05:02 PM)

Hey guys,

What was your reason to write The Last Night? That song has helped me in so many ways, and gave me hope that there is a reason to keep living my life.

BarlowGirl_Rocks -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/18/2008 12:47:49 AM)

Hey Skillet,

What are your guy's faverate verses in the bible and why are they your faverates?

HNismyfriend -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/18/2008 9:27:51 AM)

Hi Skillet! You guys (and girls) are AMAZING!!!!
John: In the "party party party" podcast, did you mean to do that thing with you tripping? You actually did a really good job of just continuing like that never happened. It makes me wonder if you did that on purpose.
-Josh
PS- Your show in NYC in April was sooooo SICK!!!

pmbchick -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/18/2008 12:36:13 PM)

when are you comming to atlanta again?

MyGodIsEnough -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/18/2008 1:35:14 PM)

- How did you all come together as a band?

- What is the goal you hope to achieve with your music?

- If you could say one sentence to the entire world, what would it be?

- What is your favorite memory from the tour you recently finished with Decyfer Down and Thousand Foot Krutch?

tobyMacrazed -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/19/2008 8:06:46 PM)

-What's your favorite part of a live show?

-In what way do you think you are reaching out to people the most? Through your music, personal relationships, or what?

rockinwriter -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/19/2008 8:22:55 PM)

John, Korey, Ben, and Jen:

How do all of you feel about the controversy surrounding the labeling of bands as "Christian bands"? Would you rather be known as "Christians in a band" or simply a "Christian band"? Does this label ever get in the way of anything for you guys as a band or is it not a big deal?

pmbchick -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/20/2008 9:27:17 PM)

hey guys & gals,
I was wondering why you classify yourselves as a christian band and what you think makes a band/artist a christian one.
thank bunches

val912 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/23/2008 7:49:57 PM)

Hey Skillet!
I am a huge fan. I first became a fan when I got your new album Comatose. It's awesome. But anyways here is my question for you.
-Which of your songs do you believe has influenced the most people to accept and follow Christ?-
Thanks for your time, and one day I hope to see you in concert! Keep rockin'!

puturhandsup5 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/23/2008 8:31:32 PM)

Alright, I guess this question is for all of you guys. In a couple of your songs on "Comatose" (and the other albums), you talk about all the things that are going on in this world... especially "youth" wise. What advice do you have to the teens that are trying to stay who they are (and for that matter deal with what's going on) in this, um, "messed up place?" By the way... you guys are COMPLETELY amazing!!!! I got to see you at the Orange Peel in February- it was awesome! I love your music! wow, this is really long. [:D] anyways, thanks a bunch!

friend2every1 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/25/2008 12:48:24 AM)

Hi guys!!!

John: How did you win the role of Chief Rabbi Kai in !Hero? Was there auditions? You were perfect for the role with your earthy voice!

mapachito13 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/25/2008 11:16:57 AM)

What was your inspiration to call yourselves "Skillet"?

Are there any songs you wish you hadn't written? (Artistic regrets?)

marandalynn27 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/25/2008 11:52:25 AM)

I was at your concert @ Longview, TX, it was awesome!!! I have to admit, though, I went in expecting you guys to talk about God but not at the level that you did. I was completely floored and so proud to be a Skillet fan. I know that you said that you guys love to go into places like the Hard Rock Cafe and show them that you guys can rock regardless of whether you are Christians. What is your most memorable moment at one of these places? You guys are awesome, keep letting your light shine!!

JustineMartin -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/29/2008 12:34:59 AM)

Hey! Skillet,

I have a question to ask you guys. Are you guys going touring next year in Seattle area? Are you planning on making a new album sometime? How is Jen doing and is she getting along with you guys?

Justine

Final_Fantasy_fan -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/29/2008 6:35:39 PM)

Hey Skillet!
What inspired you to write Falling Inside the Black, Say Goodbye, and Comatose?
P.S. You should come to NY again! Missed you guys when you were here. [:)]

Rkfn07 -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (6/30/2008 9:56:29 PM)

Skillet,
Why do you stay away from talking too much about your faith in God at secular venues, like the House of Blues? I noticed the difference in your between-song talks at the House of Blues and at Ichthus this year (no hard feelings though, you rocked both of 'em and you were my favorite performance at Ichthus.) Thank you, and God bless.

shinenstar -> RE: Calling all Panheads! Post a Question for Skillet! (7/1/2008 11:05:19 AM)

I know you guys have been in the music business for a while now, but how did you get started in music? How did you know that God wanted you to make a career out of it?
