No. Anybody who dies in sin does not "get into Heaven".
Maybe I should've chose "I don't know"...because the question is a bit too general (IMHO).

Now, if this someone is a born-again believer and unfortunately takes his/her own life due to their mental state and cannot held accountable for their action and therefore are forgiven of that sin... and that topic can be discussed HERE

FYI, my dad who was a born-again Christian, committed suicide in 1997. He was manic depressive.

Many will think I'm misleading but this is how I feel about it. There's far more information not given us than is written in the Bible. Some things aren't there for a reason--God's reasons, whatever they may be.

Often, I think people who commit suicide are sick, that is, they were in need of medical as well as spiritual help. I don't think in every case a loving God will send someone who was genuinely sick to hell. There are medical reasons for some depressions. I think if you were fully in touch with your faculties and you do it, that may be another story. Which brings me back to the beginning of what I think; Is anyone who commits suicide in control of their faculties? Would anyone fully in touch with them commit suicide?

I answered 'I don't know'

The above is biblically incorrect and cheapens what Jesus absolutely completed on the cross.

I voted yes because I was thinking about born-again Christians who commit suicide because of mental illness are still saved. The only unpardonable sin that God cannot forgive you of is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, which is saying that Jesus did miracles by the devil's power. I don't think that God would create someone with a mental illness or mental retardation, then send that person to hell because they don't have the ability to accept Jesus as Savior due to mental illness or retardation.
