I choose to call Barack Hussein Obama a lower case messiah because it is funny and points out his audacity of pomposity. YOU are the one that can't let go of the "OBAMA NEVER CALLS HIMSELF THAT!!!1111" line. So, if it isn't above your pay grade to do so, please go back and read my post slowly. Done? Calling Obama a 'messiah' is either a delibrate falsehood on its own merits OR a deliberate falsehood by falsely implying that Obama has made that claim for himself - take your pick. Here's another hint - if you don't want the title, don't do the act.

Considering how late this decision is being dragged out (already past noon, EDT), I'm beginning to suspect the VP in question will not be revealed until tommorrow's Obama rally in Springfield.

Just a thought: if it's Obama's intent to rev up the drama machine as much as possible prior to this announcement (and it seems so), which VP selectee would, in fact, be the most dramatic? Hillary. I'm not saying this will happen, per se. I guess I'm just thinking "out loud" (while typing).

The McCain camp has announced it will unveil its VP nominee tomorrow at noon (EDT). http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/28/mccain.vp/index.html My money is still on Romney, but with McCain, you never know when he'll go all maverick on you and pick a dark horse.
