Kerr said last night he was having a cookout today. Wonder if he is serving slaw hot dogs?

What is the difference between a Leer Jet and a Lear Jet? Does the Leer Jet stare at people? And when you are about a slaw dog. Do people put cole slaw on a dog or kraut?

Thanks Lynn, I'll prefer my slaw on the side with my hot dog. Lear Jet was based in Wichita, my hometown. And did you also know the Bill Lear invented the 8 track tape player?

But Lear Jet was bought by Bombardier, which I think is a Canadian company.

When I was a kid there were four aircraft manufacturers in Wichita, Beech, Cessna, Boeing and Lear. Lear and Boeing were bought by Canadian companies. Beech was bought by a USA company. And as far as I know Cessna has not been bought by anyone. However, the private aircraft market has been bad for years. Even a four seater plane cost in the 6 figures and who can afford that?

It has been a busy day in the Kerrlaw house. We had several family members in for a cookout, and everyone had a good time. Mrs. K and I have finally figured out the perfect way to cook hamburgers on the grill. Afterward, I had to load my new internet security program on home and office computers as my Norton 360 expired today. This required much more time than I anticipated. Then Mrs. Kerrlaw and I listened to a concert by the Knoxville Symphony and watched fireworks. This was the 21st anniversary of our second date. Hope everyone had a great Independence Day.

Attention medical types. Mrs. K had a biopsy on her leg about 10 days ago. (everything was OK). The four stitches were taken out Wednesday. The nurse said since it was not completely healed she put steri-strips on it and said to keep on until they fell off. Well they fell off, leaving an open wound, which we covered with a large band-aid. It is not bleeding through the bandage. Should we go to the ER tonight or tomorrow, or is it ok to wait and go to the doctor's office on Monday?
