Have a good night!

I think it is a pretty guitar. Here it is at their site.

Here is the A&L that I'm also looking at. They also have it in black, which is kind of fun and rebellious. It's the one I'm leaning towards.

I've never had a steel string guitar, and hubby wanted to buy me one for my birthday this year. My birthday came and went many months ago...I'm a slow shopper.

What is the4 difference in the sound of each one?

The A&L is warmer, with deeper tones. It "sang" when I played it more than the Simon and Patrick. But, the Simon and Patrick is supposed to be a better guitar and the warmth should increase as it ages.

Hubby says that for sure the A&L sounded better.

Hey Mike, remember at Tony's when I said that I would like to serve on jury duty? Well the Circuit Court of Sevier County has decided to grant my wish. I didn't know that the term is for TWO MONTHS.

Can you tell if these will be criminal or civil trials? Or maybe a grand jury?

Why is it that when you start reading different threads the subject of FOOD always comes up in nearly every one of those threads?

I'd love to hear you play, Cranky. Any sound clips you can submit? DS3 learned that, even within the same brand, each instrument will sound a little different because of the wood variations (I'd lean more to the S&P for the cedar top instead of a laminate) and even the tiny differences in varnish finish can slightly affect the sound. He played many, many, many instruments before deciding on "the one."

(((((food!!))))) And I am Baptist, but we recently sang at a Methodist church and their potluck dinner sure looked mighty Baptist to me. I live in a more progressive area now and the churches just don't have the homecoming/dinner on the grounds kind of a mentality. We're celebrating our one year church anniversary in a couple of weeks and they're having a brunch with fruit and breakfast casseroles. Just not the same. Maybe I'll sneak in Kerr's Spam casserole!!!!

I tried turning the hot water heater off yesterday but my shower this morning was about the same. Might have something to do with our incoming water pipe being only a few inches underground and being on day 33 of a heat wave here in south central Texas. 103 yesterday, 14 days above 100, annual average is only 11 days over 100. Summer starts saturday maybe it will cool off then!

We lived in townhome where the hotwater heater was in the attic ...anyway...we cut the gas off for the summer and we never had a cold shower.

A cold shower might have felt good some days.

I need to revive my Navy wife skills and pack as few suitcases...usually one large and one small for 4 of us! Now at Christmas because the clothes are bulkier it may take a couple more. We'll be in PF/Sevierville for 4 nights/5 days next week.

Wow Lynn, you guys are making a regular vacation out of the trip.
Do you have something planned for every day.

BTW. I am coming in with just carry-on.

Yep...since we live near the beach...this is our vacation. Going to check out some of the things around town that weren't open or didn't have time to do while there in February. One day we plan to go to Dollywood...Saturday morning Hubby and Christi's Hubby are going fishing along with my 10 year old manchild.

Christi, GB, Me, my GB are going to lay around the pool...waiting on the menfolk to return with the fish.
