I conkerr.

When we grill at home, we always get burgers from the Fresh Market. Mine is always their bleu cheese burger...heavenly! Ever tried them from there? Hubby gets the bacon cheddar burger and GB gets a hot dog and eats a couple of bites from each of our burgers.

I Fresh Market.

We love pork steak on the grill. You have to burn the fat a little bit before it is just right.

I fixed a pork roast yesterday and then pulled it apart and put bbq sauce all over it. It was tasty.

That was my primary job when I worked in the meat department, prepare foods such as the hamburgers ready to cook. We had several types of hamburgers seasoned ready to cook as well as a lot of seasoned/stuffed chicken, steaks and other things. This was a good profit for the meat department. 2 cents of seasoning would add 50 cents to the cost of the product.

Me neither. Tells me someone has been mistreating the meat. Time to go somewhere else.

Now that's funny!!

Oh...Santa...that picture of Tony's burgers and all this talk of food is getting me hungry! I don't think I will order one of those but thinking of trying one of his chicken dishes. I guess I will have to wait and see what mood I'm in when we meet....

I should have posted this in Tony's thread...sometimes these threads blend from one to the other don't they???!!!!

Just read this post and had just posted in the Geezer thread about how hungry it makes me just looking at the photo of those hamburgers and I can't change the avatar here at work. Just suffer along with me I guess.

Oh...you will be in for a wonderful concert!
I just saw them for a minute or two on INSP...Gospel Music Southern Style...clips from the NQC this past year. Now I really can't wait to see them along with the Hoppers & Ivan. I haven't seen the Roarks but can't wait to hear them for the first time.

Maybe you could skeer the Jehovah's Witlesses Witnesses that came to visit yesterday...

As they were witnessing to me, I was witnessing to them. They didn't stick around long...

Good for you! There's a JW church right up the road from us. I haven't had any of them knocking at my door here (that I remember) but I have had Mormons. The dogs go ballistic when anyone knocks on the door and I only open it a crack like they're a pack of vicious beasties. Unwanted visitors find they didn't really want to talk to me afterall.

I read once where a couple bought the biggest dog food bowl they could find; had the word "Killer" printed on the side of it; and put a super heavy chain in the yard attached to a huge pole set in cement. They never had any unwanted callers. Their dog was a Chihuahua.

So that was pretty much a swimming pool for their dog...

I like that!

My Irish Terrier isn't all that big but he's got a HUGE bark. You'd think he was an Irish Wolfhound instead of Terrier. And Terriers always sound like they're going to rip you apart and eat your gizzard. I should put out a "Beware of Dog" sign, though.

I like that sign that says "Forget about the dog -- Look out for the owner!" (picture of gun underneath)...

Then there are the people that put a pair of muddy boots, a dog bowl, an empty dog chain, two duck decoys on their porch and a copy of Guns & Ammo sticking out of the mail box then taped a note to the door that read "Gone to get more ammo, be right back signed Bubba" I think that would make burglars change their minds

My Audrey has a big bark for a smaller dog too (cocker). No one will EVER sneak up on my house. There are certain folks though that get extra growls and barks from her though: The garbage man, the UPS man and Mormon missionaries (I'm not kidding!).
