Got this email from a friend this morning......

Rhonda just called and said that Mike is improving. His kidneys are beginning to function and it looks as though he will NOT need dialysis. He is still in ICU and on the ventilator. He was asking for her last night so she spent sometime with him and told him of all the love and prayers that had been going up for him.

Keep on praying!!!

GOD IS STILL ON HIS THRONE!!!!!

I got this from a email sent out by a group member of "higher Hope" today...

I spent the day yesterday with the family. Though Mike has made some improvements we are not out of the woods yet and Mike is still in desperate need of your prayers. He is still on the breathing machine and the doctor said he might on it for another 3 to 4 days.



As I was leaving last night around 10pm or so, they has just checked Mike's temperature and he was running a temp of 101.4. This is a concern because Mike doesn't need to have any infection or pneumonia and they have concerns that with a fever that might be the case. They are running some tests to see what could be causing the fever.

I got this from a friend this morning... PRaise the Lord I hope he continues to get better!

I spoke with Rhonda this morning and they were taking Mike off the ventilator. PTL!!!! They will monitor him closely for the next 24 hours and if he does well he won't have to go back on it. He does have a touch of pneumonia. She said to keep praying!!!

I just hung up the phone with Rhonda. She asked me to post for her.

Mike is OFF the ventilator and is doing pretty well. While we were talking, they came in to prepare him to move to a regular room out of ICU!

She says that he does have pnuemonia and infection is setting in so they still need lots of prayer.

She passes along her love and appreciation to everyone that is praying on their behalf and says to keep it up because it is working!

God is good...

Continue to pray for my friends and especially the kids during this trying time.

I haven't been able to be on here for a few days, really busy, but I am very thankful for your updates. My family I and will continue to pray for the Pillow Family. God is able!!! I met Rhonda and Savannah on June 14, where I was singing at Tony Peace's Gospel Jubilee Showcase in Austell, Ga and it was Savannah's birthday. She was turning 12 that day. Very nice, sweet people and I'm sure God is very mindful of them, their His children.

Mike is doing very well but still has a way to go. He will hopefully get to go home with oxygen as early as tomorrow! His left lung is still deflated but they are working with that today.

She was so excited! She was on her way home from the hospital when I called her cell to meet the oxygen company to get the house all set up for him to come home.

She sends her thanks to everyone for their prayers and concern and asks that we still keep praying as it is obviously working!

Great news.....Will continue to remember them in our prayers as Mike recovers.

Don't know if you know it but Bro. Bob, WGMI, died early yesterday. He had the morning show for several years and always done the prayer line in the mornings.

I have not heard any update on Bro Mike Lately, But i do know they are having a Benefit Sing For Him, Its on August 8th At Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton, GA at 6pm.. it will Feature The Shadrix trio, Enlisted, Hopes Journey, and others..
