Yeah, that could be a problem if the content is awful!

Mine are generally between 40 and 50 minutes.

Ours is 15-20 min We have a older church eveybody over 50 and longer most fall asleep (not a JOKE) My husdband just got out of Bible school and I love the way he preaches 3 -4 point made them . repreat any main points 10-15 mons!ts and then lets the Lord us the words and then closes! We have a few men pray to long ! Just hear one self talk.

HI THERE.

HEY NICE GOGLE -- WHERE DID YOU GET IT?

WELL HOW LONG IS MOST SERMONS

THE EARLIEST PART OF MY VOLUNTEER EVANGILICAL -- I USED TO PREACH AT LEAST 30 MINUTES TO 40 MINUTES -- THEN I SING FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO 10 MINUTES

THEN I JUST STARTED TO PREACH ABOUT 20 MINUTES

THEN NOW I PREACH ONLY FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES

THE PEOPLE THAT I PREACHED TO STARTED IN 2003 -- THEY WERE SENIORS

NOW THEY ARE 6 YEARS OLDER

YOU CAN PRAY FOR THEM FOR ME -- WILL YOU?

I STILL PREACHED TO THEM -- BUT SOME ARE GONE AND THERE ARE NEW ONES

THEY ARE SO LOVEABLE AND REALLY NICE PEOPLE

GOOD LUCK

THE BEST SERMON IS EITHER -- SALVATION

OR THEORY -- OR TOPICAL

I DID ALL OF THEM

I CALL THEORY IN THERE INCLUDED ALSO HISTORY

I want to slap everyone who stops and looks at their watch every five minutes.

A time too many we forget who's house we're in and exactly why we're there.

Perhaps, just perhaps, people are looking at their watches is because it isn't His message being preached, but the man behind the pulpit's message.

BTW, I don't think I've looked at my watch during a sermon since we started having a worship service begin at 8:30AM. It never made sense to me to give the preacher the pulpit at 15 minutes before noon and expect people to ignore their stomach that has been programmed to take sustenance at noon the other 6 days of the week.

There's some truth to that, but I've also seen the opposite.

The sermon is usually about 10 minutes.
