What is an ideal date for you? I know these two are going to sound hopelessly romantic, but 2 ideal dates for me are 1. going ice skating together 2. being taken rowing in a rowboat

My dream date with be with my dream man and it really wouldn't matter what we do as long as we're connecting. If we're not really connecting, a man can take me on a gondola ride to the moon and I'd consider it a nightmare. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors, so anything to do with hiking/climbing/bouldering/mountain biking with a man that I like would be a dream date.

I am not really sure what my dream date would be as I hardly ever, ever date, if at all! Eating at a nice Italian Restaurant would be a good start.

And there's plenty of nice Italian restaraunts in Boston! I ate at some place called Sarafino's or something like that. It was somewhere near North Station and it was sooooo yummy! Now was it in the North End? That is one of my favorite places to eat!

A nice picnic is always enjoyable for me. Maybe someplace like Fort Williams which is about 10 minutes from me. It's my favorite place in the world!

ORIGINAL: OneOfHisJewels What is an ideal date for you? I don't do ice skating anymore cause I'm tired of the cracks when I fall. And for some reason whenever I take a girl rowing she gets upsets when I want her to row. I just don't understand women I guess! Seriously though, any time I spend with my sweetie would be a dream date. Maybe a walk around a small lake followed by a short adventure in the woods

Prairehiker, you sound like a lot of guys' dream date!!!!! For mountain biking do you mean the bicycle kind or the motor kind? Thanks Jewel. That's sweet! Now, if you can convince just one man to see me as a dream date, I'll be your best friends for life...lol. I do the bicycle kind. In fact, I'm taking my daughter to a downhill mountain biking ride in Whistler (world famous for downhill skiing) sometime this summer. It's like skiing down from the top of the mountain but only on a mountain bike. I hope we make it down in one piece.

I'm pretty easy going about activities as long as we have time to interact. After dating for a while, it would fun just to hang out on the couch, snuggle, watch a movie, and eat some popcorn.

Agreed!!!!! I want to see that movie too. It would be a great date - not sure about a dream date, but a great one, nonetheless. Guess I'll be going alone.

Rosie, Get Smart was an American comedy television series that satirized the secret agent genre. Created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, the show starred Don Adams as Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 of CONTROL, a secret U.S. government spy agency. Get Smart aired on the NBC television network from September 18, 1965 to April 12, 1969, after which it moved to CBS for its final season, running from September 26, 1969 to September 11, 1970. A total of 138 episodes were broadcast. The show was quite popular in the mid-1960s, and continues to enjoy a cult following as it is often rerun around the world in syndication.

I only knew about Get smart from the people I work with. I've never seen any episode, and I didn't really have any idea what to expect. I wasn't even born when the original series was on. I saw it with my daughter and my sister. It's my sister's 56 birthday ( and she's still single.) They both loved the movie. I hope there's a sequel.

Here is one from my highschool days: We go to the mall to hang out for a while. She wears jean cut offs. We walk around the mall awhile. Maybe get an ice cream or something. Then we go to the movie theater at the mall. Present day: I wanna keep that one for me. Maybe if it comes true I will share.
