oh hi - it will prolly be on again that movie on TBS or something! or maybe NETFLIX might have it :)

do you think the people go end up in hell are not sorry for being there? or not care? if they hated God in this life, they're probly mad that they are in hell and are cursing God for sending them there and prolly never will understand why they are there. well i dont know, im just thinking about it.. i mean, are there regrets in hell? or do men just go on hating continually?

if i die and end up missing heaven, i would really get mad at myself because i know all there is to know on how to be saved, and if i missed it, it would be a terrible tragedy coz i know now how to escape it. one of my worst fears is that im sincere, but what if im sincerely wrong? that is a scarey thought. coz hell could be prevented by me now.. because i know the way.. if i dont follow it, i have no one to blame but me.

And how are some so sure that Carlin didn't do just that in his last moments?

We know the types of actions (sins) we do that can send us there but the fact that people can be so sure who is in heaven and who is not boggles my mind.

My question is where this "last second salvation" theology comes from?. I think it comes from well meaning people who like to comfort themselves with this thought, and just like UFO's, its something we've all heard about, but none of us have ever seen.

I don't believe those verses teach "deathbed conversion". One can be in the process of dying and say they believe because they fear hell or the unknown but that's not the kind of faith that saves, it's more like fire insurance. I liken it to foxhole conversions that have no lasting effect, or prison faith. That kind of faith is self centered, not Christ centered. The thief on the cross shouldn't be taken as normative.
