ORIGINAL: zamdad Wow, I was ready to answer the OP and then I read that Walker's mom died. I have come to respect you over the years Walker. Sorry to hear about your loss. As I write this, no I'm not happy. God has taken me through some pretty deep valley's. Lately, the valley seems to be getting deeper. I can put on a good face for the public to see, butI'm not finding the joy in the journey. Wow from here too. Walker311... I am so sorry. Praise God that you can rejoice in the fact that she is saved and that you will be with her again for eternity!! Zamdad... Hi! I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. I can certainly relate to those feelings. Lately I have been on a roller coaster of feelings and emotions... and the valley can be treacherous. My husband is having a tougher time in the valley... because of course, he is the spiritual leader and feels a deeper responsibility. Over all... I am happy/blessed... for what God is doing in our lives (even though we can't see it... we know He is working), for our children, grandchildren, my husband... etc. We are blessed... even in the valley. [:)] Side note: It's funny that people are even posting here since the whole post isn't there. This email I got, true or not... talked about Americans being unhappy with the presidency and the way tings are in our country. Whoever originally wrote the email was saying how spoiled we are as Americans, and pointed out all the amenities we enjoy here as opposed to other country's. The overall message was that we should thank God for what we have, and where we live and stop sniffling that we are "unhappy." MY point was that this person spouted that 69% of Americans are unhappy according to New York Times (or some popular news mag)... and I have heard that something like 71% of Americans are Christian... So... that's where my question came from. [;)]
