Lynn, I thought that song 'Wild One' or was it 'Wild Thing' was named after you.

I understand...I get a little frustrated with the run time errors too. We would love to have you join us at one of our gatherings...as you know they are usually not planned too far in advance. This last one kind of took on a life of it's own. It started back in April with discussion of who was planning on going to the Mull Singing...and the rest is history as they say. Well thats ok, I tend to be spur of the moment at times as well.

At home. That's one of the downsides of having a home office, on holidays you want everyone to be quiet since you have spent the rest of the week going nuts in the office lol. It's nothing to pass my office door and the music playing loud, starting and stopping as I work on something for an artist. I was sitting here yesterday talking to an artist from IN about a session and putting Orajel on my little girls tooth all at the same time. Home office...gotta love it.

ORIGINAL: robertyork Sharon Marie was attempting to ride her trike from Jackson to Yellow Stone Park. She made it up the mountain to Grand Teton Park without indicent, but when she reached Grand Teton, the grade had wore her down. So, she decides to hitchhike. Sometime later, a car approaches and offers Sharon Marie a ride, but admits, "Your trike won't fit in the car." So he opens his trunk and takes out a piece of rope. Then, he ties one end of the rope to the trike and the other end to his bumper. "You've got a horn on your trike....If I go too fast, honk your horn and I'll slow down." This scheme worked well for several miles, until another car zooms past. Not to be out done, the man takes off in pursuit with the trike and Sharon Marie in tow. Both cars fly throuh a speed zone and Trooper Sam clocks them on his radar gun traveling at 120 mph. Trooper Sam radios ahead to another officer and says. "You've got two vehicles headed your way and they're both doing over 120 mph." "10-4 good buddy," replies the fellow trooper. Trooper Sam hesitates a moment, then adds, "And you're not going to believe this.........there's a young lady following on a tricycle."

Sam - I'd love to see some cradle photos when you get it finished. quote:
ORIGINAL: GVfan Well, we are FINALLY home from the hospital. Actually, we've been home for about 45 mins. Gene is doing real well, but we are both absolutely exhausted. We're settling down to watch a movie and we'll be out like lights! My prediction is that neither of us will even hear the neighbors and their firecrackers tonight! Talk to y'all later. YAY!!! Y'all get good sleep!

I developed a case of severe neuropathy in both feet a few years ago and haven't been able to drive in a little over two years. There are days I would love to get out and drive somewhere. It's just not the same when you have to have a driver to take you somewhere. I lived about 45 years and was always very independent, now I'm dependent on someone for everything if it takes place outside the house. I'm fortunate to be able to do what I do, I just get a driver or a cab to the studio when I'm doing a session.

Oh sounds like the stimulus check is going to be a blessing for sure. I'm glad you are going to be able to get something for YOU to drive. One of the hardest things I ever did was to sell my Durango and admit I was no longer able to drive it. There's something to be said for even small acts of independence.

ORIGINAL: WhiteRoseBlessings Hey y'all . . . For those of y'all who do NOT want to look at my photos from my trip to Jackson, do NOT click on the below link. For those of y'all who DO want to see them, y'all might want to click on the link below. I didn't upload all 313 of them (aren't y'all glad?) . . . I think there's 119 of them to view. HERE's the link. OH . . . I loaded them in sequential order (from May 29th to June 27th) . . . however, they show as being from June 27th to May 29th . . . so if you want to view them in the correct order, you'll need to view them, uhm, backwards. BEAUTIFUL Think Carol like the animals the most. I watched the slideshow and let her sit down and watch it after I finished. BEAUTIFUL

Happy 4th, everyone. I developed a sore throat last night, naturally after my Dr. office and pharmacy were closed. We went to Evansville today so I could go to a Convenient Care Center, got a prescription, found an open pharmacy, and then went to the hospital to see my dad. For those who did not see it in the prayer requested thread, he had a mild heart attack and had to go to ER Sun nite and then flown to an Evansville hospital Monday. Mrs. BB and I spent all night in the intensive care waiting area Mon., and we have not got over the sleep deprivation yet. My sweet sisters both came and helped out with everything, too. We were supposed to go to see Evansville's fireworks tonite with friends, but cancelled that. More rain last night, heavy in spots. One of the areas I still needed to replant some soybeans had water standing in it again this morning. At this point on the calendar, we about have the soybeans that we have.

Just finished my hamburger with cheese, lettace, tomato....then finished off with a slice of watermellon!!! YUMMMMMMMM!!! Hubby is a great grillmaster.

BB...I hope you're feeling better. I also hope your dad is doing better. I know the planting season has been very frustrating for you this year. Bobby & Santa...just read where Francouer got sent down to minors. He isn't happy about it and is mouthing off. That won't go over with Bobby and others...I bet Chipper will be making a phone call and telling him to nip it in the bud.

They were probably right sending him down. Some of them need some batting practice.
