Lynn, I think it was you that said you were going to watch "Bucket List"? Did you yet and if so what did you think?
Sharon, as you know, I'm not Lynn . . . but just the other day I put "Bucket List" in my Netflix que and moved it up to the top of the que. I should be getting it sometime next week.

Morgan Freeman?
Jack Nicholson?

TOGETHER in a movie?

Yep, you can bet your boots I'll be watching movies like that.

I'm hoping to see it this weekend. I have heard some good things about it. Let me know what you thought of it when you see it will you please?
I sure will. I don't guarantee which thread I'll tell ya in . . . but it will be either yours, this one or that ramblin' thread. I have 3 DVDs to return tomorrow; I'm guessing they'll get to Netflix by Monday, which means I should probably have my next 3 movies by next Wednesday.

We'll probably watch the program on tv tonight from Lenox Square. They have the largest display of fireworks in the Southeast. Thousands and thousands of people gather there for the program. Only reason I might want to go is that Miss America will be there

Our next door neighbor is already firing some. Carol jumps everytime one goes off. We are baby sitting our sons dog and it frightens her also. The type they are shooting are illegal to sell in Georgia. TN & AL are very close and a lot of stands just across state lines. Kinda reminds me when beer/liquor stores were not allowed in some counties in GA. You would see several stores just prior to entering those counties.

No I wouldn't even get in that mess for to see Miss Americia.

Well, if you want more noise, you and Carol could come see me . . . there's someone with some kind of a diesel engine around here that lets it run for 10 or 20 minutes before leaving, there's a band of Harley riders visiting the neighborhood and there's someone who must be deaf because he plays his car stereo so loud that I can feel the reverb in from my floor!. Plus, I can also hear the Parkway from here.

But sorry, No Miss America around here.

Sorry about your luck.

Hey y'all . . .

For those of y'all who do NOT want to look at my photos from my trip to Jackson, do NOT click on the below link.

For those of y'all who DO want to see them, y'all might want to click on the link below.

I didn't upload all 313 of them (aren't y'all glad?) . . . I think there's 119 of them to view.

HERE's the link.

OH . . . I loaded them in sequential order (from May 29th to June 27th) . . . however, they show as being from June 27th to May 29th . . . so if you want to view them in the correct order, you'll need to view them, uhm, backwards.

SM...the pictures are gorgeous! Reminds me of the breath taking scenes we saw while traveling and living in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for sharing!

No...I ended up watching my Booth Brothers dvd I bought last weekend. I need to get it watched because it's due back to Blockbuster!

Carol said today, I sure would like to go to Pigeon Forge.

It looks it's gonna have to wait until the end of August. We might try to come up the first week for 2 or 3 days, but don't know for sure yet.

This must be the weekend for dog sitting!!! As you know SC must be the capitol of fireworks...there's a stand on every corner. Folks have been shooting them off for days now. Unfortunately it isn't illegal to sell or fire them off around here! Some of them sound awful big!

Hey Bobby...looks like that kid they brought up from Richmond is what we needed...first time in 42 innings we have taken the lead!!!

Santa I'd love some of those rolls pretty please, i've been good

Pam, as I said earlier, you have to come get them. Don't deliver on the 4th.

And I had not seen earlier that there were chocolate oatmeal cookies also. That's my favorite. Both choc. chip and choc. oatmal very yummilicious. Have not eaten any cinnamon rolls yet. Taking one of them to work tonight.

Mainly the ones by the Hoppers. I like the complexity of their work. That struck me right away. I need to listen to the others more and get a better sense of what they are doing

I am buying more music in mp3 format these days. That way I can combine several albums onto my player and I chose random playback so the order is different as it switches from artist to artist. I have had some interesting progressions between CCM, SG and secular songs in terms of musically styles.

I knew you were a smart man, Gary!! You have great taste in music!!

Bobby & Santa...just read where Francouer got sent down to minors. He isn't happy about it and is mouthing off. That won't go over with Bobby and others...I bet Chipper will be making a phone call and telling him to nip it in the bud.

I missed the first part of the game and had just figured out he had been sent down. Where to?? Did not hear that as yet>
