And 6 months from now Santa would be busy delivering the toys to all the good boys and girls all over the world.

The thought crossed my mind that out of all the threads here in the SG forum, the Geezer and Gonna-Be thread almost never goes to page two. That is interesting.

You're right, Santa. In fact, it's usually right at the top of page one. Even though I don't post a lot, I check the Geezer thread several times a day to see what you all are up to!

Thank you, Santa. I never got the chance to know her. She passed away before I was born. She was born and raised in France, and met my grandfather (an American) while he was stationed in Europe during WWII.

Sorry you never got to know her.

I like your avatar as well, Santa. I think owls are beautiful, but I am petrified of them! My mom has a couple of owls that hang out regularly in her backyard (near her deck). They are LOUD! She loves to sit out on the deck at night and listen to them. It's very peaceful and calming (as long as I don't see them up close!).

I can understand that. No up close and personal for sure.

We love to watch hummingbirds from our windows.

I love to watch hummingbirds, too. My dad always loved cardinals. A few weeks before he passed away, he and I were sitting out on the deck and a cardinal came up close to the deck (my mom has several bird feeders). We were watching it, and the next thing I knew that bird was flapping its wings in my face! I just about jumped off the deck! I have no idea why it came so close to me, but my dad got a big kick out of it! Needless to say, it was awhile before I could see the humor in it!!

A couple of times we would have 30 or more hummingbirds in our yard. It would be the time they were flying south or whereever they go for the winter.

Oh! I'll bet that was beautiful! We usually only have one or two at a time. I think they are so cute.

Well, I'm getting sleepy, so I think I'll go on to bed now. I hope you have a nice night, Santa.

Goodnight!

Just noticed that Bobby. Forgot about that 6 o'clock magic they do sometimes. Guess I better edit that post.

You had the 14,000 at that time. I'd just leave it, that way you will know how many times you hit that number.

I just checked and humbleinspirit went ahead of you last night.

Bobby, I think the better way to look at it was I went behind him about 6 o'clock this morning.

What really happened was that Donna saw me closing on her and she got the scissors and went *whack* to about 280 of my posts.
