I think I will try to get some sleep also. It should be quiet as the neighbor left with the nice men in blue. He should have listened when they told him to stop, but no he wanted to fight with them. Not a good idea when you have been drinking as I am sure he was.

Uh Oh...sounds like he's been into Franklin County's finest!!!!

Well...I'm going to call it a night as well...don't know yet what we're going to do tomorrow other than wait with much anticipation on my son's return to pickup the bulldogs. My Cocker Spaniel puppy loves picking on them then gets mad when they pick back.

Can't imagine why the puppy would get mad?

Christi, it doesn't bother me either. I don't think too many will care.

I was going to suggest you unplug, blow in contact and replug the keyboard and mouse. Maybe even do a restart after that.

Oh Sharon...that avatar is cute...I would say that expression was from you trying to fix mine last night!!!

LOL Lynn, I am reading in forums in that avatar. It's probably not good for my back but 80 percent of the time I am leaned forward like that as I read. Actually it's pretty comfy.

Speaking of fireworks... I hope someone calls on whoever is doing the ones that literally shake my house!! I am pretty tolerant on these firework holidays, but I am NOT appreciating that big of a boom.

Have a good night everyone!

I'm usually leaning over like that my self. I can't read with my glasses but can't read too well without them so I have to lean...bad for the posture! I can just see all of us leaning and reading!!!

I am back. Went to brush my teeth & go to bed when all of the noise started. We had several police cars comming back to where the first man was taken away from. Not sure what was going on, but they took several more away. It does seem quiet now, so I am going to try & get back to going to bed.

Santa I hope you have a nice evening at work & can get sleep tomorrow when you get home.

A very Happy day after the 4TH of July to all of you.

Qtman is smart. I pulled out a pair of ear plugs we use on the firing range. Went right off to sleep. Of course I can't hear much when I am using those so I don't like to use them but last night I made an exception. I suggest you all get a pair before the next fireworks holiday.

I'm right there with you, Sam! I hate loud noises, especially firecrackers, so mine went in and I slept like a baby last night. 'Course no sleep the night before helped, but I love my ear plugs!!!

Looking back a few pages looks the Fireworks were going off very late in some of y'all's neighborhoods. I guess everyone was too broke in my neighborhood to buy too many. The war ended early here this year. They stopped just a little after 11 pm

I love the edit feature!! I went back and read this post and had left out a word or two.

Yep. I need to edit a lot for 2 reasons:(1). some times my brain is running faster than my fingers and (2) sometimes my brain isn't running at all

Like just now when I pushed OK before ever writing my post

It did not end here untill about 2:30 AM this morning. By the time it was over they had arrested 6 different people, 4 of which they had prevous warrents on. They must have not been very smart men & women, or else they did not know they were wanted by the law to keep on setting off the fireworks. By the looks this morning, they had plenty to drink, and I don't mean water either. The older couple that own the home are out now trying to get it cleaned up. I think the first one to go was their grandson. I think the surprise in all of this is I live in a very quiet neighborhood & never in my 40plus years of living here have I ever seen this much going on.

I will remember to buy ear plugs before the next July 4th.

Sam did you have an extra pair for your wife to wear also? I'm sure she needed some to.
