I believe you still have over 2 months before yours will start dropping. And it usually begins slowly because we don't post a lot to begin with. But in your case that might be different. You just jumped right in and posted and posted and posted.......

That's me...miss yaksalot!!!!

Not the first time she has called herself Miss yaksalot. When it is true you just have to fess up.

I've enjoyed the palavering this morning. Need to get myself presentable to do errands and then to work at 3pm. Will not be able to post too much from work but will post when time allows.
But will be back here before work time. Be Blessed.

Nope, but it did take me a LOT longer than 6 miles months to make 5,000 posts.

This is my 2nd time to go over 14,000 posts. First time did not last 6 hours.
And I have a feeling that it will drop below 14,000 before the month is over.

I had hopes of hitting 10,000 and maintaining there, but the Coffee Thread and the first Ask Kerrlaw thread were zapped about the same time. and I lost over 1,000 posts.

Hi Christi, are you ready to start that new job? I will be thinking about you, GB and your hubby as you start a new adventure.

I suppose. This attitude of mine is bothering me. I feel so bad for so not wanting to go to work when so many people need jobs. My best friend was laid off from her job 2 months ago and she's still looking. Maybe it's petty of me, but I keep thinking about missing out on GB every night.

Thanks for asking and thank you for thinking of us!

We are now hearing the thunder outside. It's about 3 or 4 hours earlier than Mon and Tues. We need the rain but not all the storms. Another was killed in the area yesterday when a tree fell across their trailer. The drought has caused the trees to develop root problems and a heavy wind just blows the big things out of the ground.

You have done such a great job with GB. She is such a happy child. She will be fine. I think it is only natural for working mothers to be conflicted and feel guilty. GB will be fine, and who knows what God has planned for the future? This may not last too long.

Oh Christi, I hope I didn't make you sad. I think your attitude just demonstrates your love for your child. That is so precious. I know you are thankful for the job and that this is just a little tough at the moment. And by the way, I don't think you are petty---not at all!

Thank you, frog!!!

The best thing about this job is that I get to go in after hubby gets home from work, so no sitters/daycare to deal with, although I think we'll put her in Mother's Day Out at our church (which is also a Christian school) starting in the Fall. That's just for her benefit and to get her ready for school.

Thanks so much for your post. You know how wonderful it is when people brag on your kids and the job you did with them.

Judy, no, you didn't make me sad at all. Sorry to make you worry about that. These emotions just come and go. The flip side is that I am kind of excited to be bringing in more money so we can get the house ready to sell = get out to MO. It's going to be exciting getting back into my field also.

Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder for a minute. It's going to be fine...I really do know that. Just having some normal jitters.

Love you guys!!!

With those Prince Charles ears, I believe it. That thunder could be in NC and you'd still hear it.

I'm going over to the easily offended thread.

How's it going, James?
