I saw this report on ABC news Monday night about religious tolerance in america. Sorry, I can't give you the link to this story because I copied this from another forum. "...or disturbing evidence that Americans dismiss or don't know fundamental teachings of their own faiths. Among the more startling numbers in the survey, conducted last year by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life: 57 percent of evangelical church attenders said they believe many religions can lead to eternal life, in conflict with traditional evangelical teaching." I think this is pretty scary especially when I read that more the half of eveangelicals believe that many religions can have eternal life. What happened to "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father except through Me." ? John 14:6 maybe what these evangelical's who were interviewed meant was sure people from different faiths can have eternal life IF they repent and come to Jesus. what do you think? Isn't it important to believe that jesus is the only way? Also do you think these statistics are wrong?
