There is evidence that it ain't an apostle. Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; That last part explains that it was not an apostle. "Them that heard Him" were the apostles and the "us" which it "was confirmed to" are anybody who did not hear Jesus. Act 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. :25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. I would say that is it Apollos.
