Breakfast at 6:30 and then again at 8:30. Obviously one of those is fairly light. For instance, I might have half a muffin at 6:30 and then make hash browns and an egg when we get home a little after 8. The boys would have a whole muffin the first time around and then a lighter meal later. Snack at 10:30. Lunch at about noon to one. Snacks from 2 to 4 (one, two or three snacks in there for the kids--one for me). Dinner about 5 to 6 (depending on day's schedule). Snack around 8 or 9. Another snack if we stay up late. (full disclosure-they are adolescent boys. Although they have always eaten a lot...) This is exactly how we should all be eating. "Three Square meals/day" is murder on metabolism and can't fuel your body sufficiently. I normally eat something like 6a, 9a, Noon, 3p, 6p, and 9p. Like a newborn! And for me at least, the mid-meals are meals, they're not snacks. My day is divided into six pretty much equal meals (the last one might be smaller).
