I have only had DirecTV for a short time, and have recently discovered the gospel music channel. In general, how much Southern Gospel do they show on that channel? I know so far I have seen a Brian Free & Assurance program, and a Gatlin Bros. program, but havent seen too much SGM. thanks,

Maybe I'm not tuning in at the right time, but I haven't seen any Southern Gospel. To me, it seems like more contemporary gospel.

I've only seen those 2 programs, and hoped that I was just watching at the wrong time.

Monday nights 9:00 est Front Porch Live sometimes has SG on it. BFA was on it this past Monday night. Sometimes following that program is another SG video that usually last an hour.

Gaither Is on Sat. 1:00 pm est and Monday 10:00 pm est.

Several other channels carrys Gaither programs.

Thanks Robert. I seen that BFA program. Hopefully there will be more like it.!!
Where I live, you can find Gaither programs on about 10 different channels, or more!!!! , but I guess since they are basically infomercials, that's why they are on so much.

I believe either at 12 or 1 pm eastern every day the have a program called southern lunch also. It will have some SGM mixed with Country artists singing orginal Christian music.
