The first SAW is extremely mild in comparison to the continuations. SAW IV's opening scene is probably the most grotesque visual image I've seen.

I see many responses from my era, but no one but me and then boyfriend (now dh of 18 1/2 years) saw Flight of the Navigator.

When we were engaged: Passion of the Christ. I had seen it with my church group and raved about it to my fiancee, so we went and saw it together.

We rarely go to see a movie, so I can't remember the first one we saw after getting hitched.
