Um, these guys knew the risk when they signed up. The very real possibility of laying down your life in defense of your nation is part of the job description.

What did you think the military is there for?

Uh, really, most of them like it actually. I mean what did they think they were signing up for??? did they think they would have a show of hands if they wanted to go to war? Did they join up for the check, and play army? My husband was commisioned at nineteen, he chose to be in the army. He chose to be lay down his life, he also chose to be trained to kill. It is the way things are, the real deal. My husband and other military personal are trained to lay down ther lives and also take life. This is the Military, what else is it supposed to be?

I have to disagree with you there. I spent 23 years in the military and "laying down your life in defense of your nation" is NOT part of the job description of a soldier.

Instead, it's, making the enemy lay down HIS life in defense of HIS nation.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

Obviously this is but a small sampling of Obama's endorsements, many of whom are declared enemies of the United States. However, let us not forget his friends and associates with whom he has maintained close friendships and contacts with for some 20 years, including his racist pastor, Jeremiah Wright; his convicted friend and fundraiser, Tony Rezco; his terrorist friends, the Weather Underground founders, William Ayres and Bernadine Dohm; his PLO fundraiser pal, Rashid Khalidi; the list seems to just go on and on. Apparently if you are either a moslem or a communist and have a deep and abiding hatred of the USA, then you are probably an Obama supporter. And why not? Obama's policies promise to cripple America's economy and leave her defenseless against foreign and domestic attacks. Obama is our enemies' dream candidate. So if you want to see America brought down to size, vote Obama. Obama says "Yes we can!" I pray that we don't!

There can be a lot of ways to interpret it.

They like him because he is weak on defense - bad.
They like him because he thinks as they thing - bad.
They like him because they know he like them - bad.
They like him because he know nothing about them - bad.
They like him because he will be a key ally to them - bad.
They like him because he is promising money to them - bad.
They like him because he is promising them to be their "friend" - bad.
They like him because they know that the ideals of the US does not really run through him - bad.
They like him because they see the US will implode under his leadership - bad.

You think they like him because they believe that through him the US will be mightier and stronger? The enemies of the US have prayed for the US to be down on its knees and be humbled at their feet.

To think that these people somehow woke up in the middle of the night and said, "I will no longer be the enemy of freedom and democracy because Obama will be in charge" is a naive notion.

They simply sees him as a bird of the same feather, a friend and an ally that would surely tolerate them to the max.

If they disagreed, they are in the minority because there still thousands more who are still fighting and alive. Plus some more that are still signing up.

Let's not tarnish the names of these dead by saying that that's why they died because they disagreed.

If they were the US interest that were attacked, well the plan is working that it is not the civilians who are laying down their lives. At least they died fighting.

These men died as heroes not whimpering cowards who were calling their mommies to protest for them so that they can go home and have an ice cold miller. Cindy Shehan should be ashamed for making his son's death a spectacle.

These men died and they did not die in vain. And they surely did not die disagreeing with the cause they were fighting for!

They would disagree with the assertion that American interests have not been attacked. Obviously, American interests have been attacked, as Americans have been killed and wounded. Check the context.

Oh sure soldiers are also American interests. I believe I also infered that in my post. But this is the one American interet that has the interest of meeting the attack. The very interest that has the capacity to incapacitate their aggression against us. They go to the forefront for the rest of us. And those who gave their lives fought bravely and proud of not letting them come to us.

The list is growing folks. It's amazing the number of wicked people who want this guy to be president.

He's got the endorsement of the sexually disoriented. They don't have a clue what their bodies are for or what a marriage is, but they sure can pick a sodomy friendly presidential candidate.

Obama also has the support of the baby killers. NARAL is so in love with the guy that they endorsed him over Hilary Clinton, the wife of the nasty guy who personally intervened to keep it legal to suck the brains out of babies.

"Today, NARAL... is proud to endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president. Sen. Obama has been a strong advocate for a woman's right to choose throughout his career in public office."

"Sen. Obama has been a leader on this issue..."

Why wouldn't they love him. He tried to stop legislation to protect children who accidentally survived abortion. It's a sick, sick world and Obama is their idol.
