So why doesn't folks decide to jump on a plane (or train, bus or car) and have a GT in Illinois also?

Very true. A lot of people come to live in Hawaii thinking it will be like a 24/7 365 a day vacation.
But then they realize how expensive it is.
They get what we sometimes call "Rock Fever" they want to get off the island.
If they need to go to the mainland for any reason there is the added cost of flying to the mainland first
They don't realize how culturally different were are. And have difficulty adapting.
But then there are the people who love it here and never want to leave.

Yeah, well I guess one can only do Chicago so many times. I still thinks that A Boston GT might be nice sometime.
